The Lindy fibre optic USB Type C Extender is a high-performance, reliable solution for extending AV and data signals over extra-long distances via fibre optic LC duplex cable.
Supported distance and cable combinations:
5km: LC Duplex OS2 singlemode 9/125µm
300m: LC Duplex OM4 multimode 50/125µm
Supporting uncompressed resolutions up to 4K Ultra HD, video can be viewed in stunning clarity, while HDR (High Dynamic Range) ensures enhanced brightness, greater contrast, and a much wider colour gamut.
This extender provides fully featured USB Type C input and output ports, allowing connection between sources such as a PC or laptop and touchscreens supporting DisplayPort Alternate Mode and USB 2.0 data transfer.
Additional USB 2.0 device ports on the receiver, supporting up to 5V 1A each, enable applications such as KVM, collaboration, and meeting room solutions.
HDCP and EDID pass-through ensure maximum compatibility with connected devices, while RS-232 ports allow serial data transmissions to be extended as well.
The extender also supports any USB Type C DP Alt Mode to Video converter, allowing connections to HDMI® or DisplayPort screens via the receiver's output.
