This Cat.6A U/FTP network cable support bandwidth up to 500MHz and features a snagless design with gold plated contacts for ethernet standards up to 10GBase-T. This Cat.6A cable combines both shielded and unshielded, being overall unshielded with foil shielded single pair shielding (U/FTP). These cables are manufactured and tested according to the ISO/IEC 11801 specification.
A U/FTP cable (Unshielded/Foiled Twisted Pair) is a type of network cable used in structured cabling for ethernet, telecommunications and AV distribution. It combines the features of both unshielded and shielded cables to balance performance, flexibility, and protection against electromagnetic interference (EMI).
Each cable consists of 4 twisted pairs individually wrapped in a covering of high quality, strong, aluminium/polyester foil tape providing an individual screen for each pair. The gold-plated contacts ensure reliable, corrosion-free connections over extensive periods of time. A robust snagless strain relief design prevents damage to the connector latch during installation and removal.
LSZH cables offer enhanced safety by emitting minimal smoke and zero toxic halogen gases, making them ideal for fire-prone environments and ensuring compliance with stringent safety regulations. They protect sensitive equipment from corrosive gas damage, making them suitable for high-value systems in critical installations. Environmentally friendly and halogen-free, LSZH cables are perfect for confined spaces such as ships, aircraft, and densely populated areas delivering reliable performance and durability for demanding applications.
The cable provides superior performance for HDBaseT extenders and ensuring signal integrity by stable electrical performance which allows the cable to be an ideal choice for high-speed networks across a domestic or, commercial AV applications. Ensuring reliable and stable signal transmission over extended distances, which allows this cable to be an excellent choice for personal or professional installations where performance and dependability are paramount.
