Host computer and display communicate with each other to determine whether the display is in 4 lane or 2 lane DP mode. If it is in 2 lane DP mode, USB 3.0 data rates up to 5Gbps are supported. In 4 lane DP mode, USB 2.0 data rates up to 480Mbps are supported.
A more flexible construction makes this cable simple to install, with increased resistance to RFI/EMI ensures that the cable can be installed in sensitive environments. It also supports Power Delivery up to 60W, ensuring the device stays powered up and ready to go, even during demanding tasks. Compatible with USB 3.2 Type C/Thunderbolt equipped computers, this is a perfect extension tool for the latest laptops, Macbooks and Type C computers. The included high capacity 130W PSU powers the Docking Station and at the same time allows the Dock to use USB Power Delivery via USB-C to power the connected laptop and charge it extremely fast with up to 100W. The Docking Station features a high-speed LAN port for fast connection to the corporate network, an integrated USB 3.2 hub that provides three Type A ports and two Type C ports for a variety of USB devices and an Audio combo port for headsets or a microphone. The power button enables power saving and the Kensington lock provides protection in shared offices.

The Lindy USB 3.2 Hub & Gigabit Ethernet Converter allows users to conveniently connect a ultrabook, netbook or tablet to a Gigabit Ethernet network via a Type C USB port and also provides three additional USB 3.2 / 3.1 Gen 1 / 3.0 Type A ports.
This converter is ideal for ultrabooks or tablets which do not feature wired network connectivity and may only offer a limited number of USB ports.
