The Lindy 70m Cat.6 HDMI® 10.2G & IR Extender is a simple to use solution which lets the user extend HDMI® signals up to 70m using a single low cost Cat.6 U/UTP cable (not included).
For added convenience, IR signals (20-60 kHz) can also be extended using the supplied IR receiver and emitter cables.
Supporting 4K resolutions up to 3840x2160@30Hz 4:4:4 8bit, video content can be seen with incredible clarity at distances up to 70m, perfect for use in a variety of AV and digital signage applications in a range of settings including residential setups, education, business, retail and healthcare.
This extender features an HDMI® loop-out port on the transmitter for local simultaneous viewing so that a local display can be connected for monitoring or to create an additional viewing zone. To ensure the maximum compatibility when two displays are connected, the EDID data, which determines the supported video and audio formats, can be copied from either the local display connected to the transmitter or the remote display connected to the receiver.
Power over Cable (PoC) functionality enables the extender to operate from a single power supply connected to the transmitter, allowing the receiver to be located where there is limited access to mains power sockets, making it ideal for minimalist, discreet installations.
In addition to PoC functionality the extender's slim design allow it to be easier to install in limited spaces behind flat screen monitors or TVs.
Please Note: The quoted lengths and resolutions are possible with a direct connection between Transmitter and Receiver using good quality Cat.6 solid core cable. Using a different cable type, or introducing wall plates, couplers or patch panels will result in a reduction of possible distances.

The Lindy HDBaseT HDMI® 18G & IR Extender is a complete high performance solution for extending HDMI® signals over long distances via Cat.6 network cable. Combined this extender provides high quality content distribution up to distances of 150m.
The following distance and resolution combinations are possible when using high quality Cat.6 U/UTP or F/UTP cable:
150m (492.12ft) - 1280x720@60Hz via Long Reach Mode
100m (328.08ft) - 3840x2160@30Hz 4:4:4 8bit
70m (229.66ft) - 3840x2160@60Hz 4:4:4 8bit
Supporting resolutions up to 4K UHD 3840x2160@60Hz, video can be viewed in stunning clarity, while additional support for HDR (High Dynamic Range) allows content to be displayed with enhanced brightness, greater contrasts of blacks and whites and a much wider colour gamut. This provides a reliable solution for creating eye-catching digital signage in retail, immersive displays at events or engaging setups in larger conference rooms or lectures halls. An HDMI® loop out port provides additional capability for connecting a local display for monitoring of the video content in security or close-range distribution in residential installs, while simultaneously extending the signal to the receiver.
PoC (Power over Cable) functionality provides additional flexibility. This allows power to be supplied alongside data through Cat.6 network cable in a point to point connection between the transmitter and receiver, meaning only a single power supply is required at the transmitter unit. Ideal when power outlets are limited at the receiver end of the installation.
Featuring bi-directional IR ports at both sides of the setup, the source equipment can be easily controlled from the display side, and the display can also be controlled from the HDMI® source side. Combined with CEC control, which allows commands from one main remote, this extension system allows for complete and simple control for the user.
Terminal blocks allows for pass-through of RS-232 commands when integrated into control systems.
