• Switches USB keyboard, mouse an monitor and USB 2.0- and audio devices - separately or together as required

Switches 2x DVI-I (digital Dual Link & analogue), USB mouse and keyboard, USB 2.0 devices, stereo speakers and microphone between up to four PCs.

• KVM Switch function: Supports USB mice and keyboards and their standard functions, connected to the KVM switch via their own KVM USB ports

• USB 2.0 Switch/Share function: two USB 2.0 Hub Ports can be switched separately or together with the KVM Ports. By connecting a USB hub, other USB devices can be connected, such as pen drives, sticks, USB hard drives, card readers, USB printers, etc. Data and services from USB devices can be switched between computers and used alternately or excluded from the KVM switching as required. They can also be switched separately per hotkey.

• This USB switch/share function is available at the full USB 2.0 speed of up to 480MBit/sec. Please note: these ports must never be switched until the data transfer from the connected USB devices has been completed!

• True Transparent USB function:   Precise recognition of mouse and keyboard models and as a result integration of individual drivers with special functions on all connected PCs. At the same time, better support for cascading with KVM extenders. Audio Switch/Share function:  the same switchover features (together with KVM / separate / fixed assigned to a port) are also available for analogue audio devices with 3.5mm stereo connection, for instance to connect loudspeakers, microphone, headphones or headsets

• DVI monitor connection:

• Dual Head: 2 DVI-I connections per port, computer and console connection

• VGA graphics cards can also be connected via a simple cable adapter, e.g. LINDY Art No. 41223. With mixed analogue and digital mode, your monitor only needs to be able to display both signal types (analogue and digital); if the monitor has separate input sockets for VGA and DVI-D, you will also need LINDY monitor adapter cable 41008

• Supports all digital DVI-D Dual & Single Link resolutions up to and including 2560x1600 and DDC monitor identification

• Supports 3D graphics formats to HDMI 1.3b (PC-3D-Grafik) and image rates up to 120Hz, including HDCP or 3D HDMI 1.4 Blu-ray graphics formats

• Also supports max. analogue VGA resolutions up to 2048 x 1536 (QXGA)

• Note: The KVM Switch does not do signal conversion, it just switches between signals

• Quad Head DVI-I support

• Each of the two  DVI-I connections supports monitors connected via digital and analogue ports.

• Therefore, up to four monitors can be connected per port/computer/console: 2x digital + 2x analogue

• A DVI-I splitter cable Art. No. 41008 is needed to split the DVI-I  signal on both monitor, as well as a short extension cable to the second monitor (VGA, e.g. Art.No. 37390 (0.5m) or 37391 (1m)). A DVI-I splitter cable Art.No. 41008 is also needed on the PCs unless the graphics card does not already issue both output signals over just one DVI-I connection.

Switch functions:

• Switch button on KVM Switch

• Keyboard hot key via 'ROLL' button. Where needed, this hotkey can be mapped to the F12-, Num-, Caps Lock or ESC/Escape button

• The a) KVM Ports b) USB 2.0 Ports and c) Audio Ports can be switched

• together, or

• separately, or

• bound permanently to a port (only USB 2.0 and/or Audio)

• The KVM Switch also has an AutoScan function

True Transparent USB Function

True Transparent USB switching is an advanced USB emulation technology. It allows the KVM to recognise specific keyboard & mouse models and emulate any of their associated special key and function information.

Unique Switching Options

A unique switching arrangement allows the built-in USB hub to be switched independently of the computers allowing you to  print from one PC whilst playing games on another. Similarly, independent audio switching means you can listen to music from one computer while browsing the internet on the other.

DVI-I Support

Supports DVI-I Dual Link monitors and computers with video resolutions of up to an 2560 x 1600.  The switch can also be used with analogue VGA computers using compatible adapter cables.
