Register nowThis compact splitter is ideal for use in HDMI systems which require a separate HDMI Audio output. it allows for the connection of a wide range of HDMI signal sources, such as a set top box, DVD/BD player, Playstation or X-Box, or PCs etc.. It sends the image to two HDMI ports and the sound to an additional HDMI port.
Properties To take maximum advantage of the capabilities of the sound system connected to the HDMI audio output and the maximum video capabilities of the connected HDMI display, the splitter transmits the audio EDID signal from the sound system and the video EDID signal from the first active display to the HDMI signal source. Alongside the audio signal, only a blue level screen is sent to the HDMI audio output.
