IP extenders provide reliable extension of HDMI signals on a network connection, allowing for point to point and mixed configurations when combined with network equipment such as switches. Utilising IP connectivity ensures a low cost, scalable extension solution that can be easily setup for a variety of small or larger scale scenarios.
The Lindy HDMI & IR over IP extender is a complete, low cost solution for extending HDMI signals across long distances via a local network setup. As a point to point connection, the extender supports distances up to 100m using Cat.6 cable, or when combined with a network switch can be expanded for much larger distribution systems with up to 3 layers of network equipment. Adding additional receivers (38129) provides additional flexibility to the setup to distribute content into various locations or displays at distance, great for use in retail, connected office installations or educational setups.
For 1 to many and many to many set-ups, a managed network switch is required to be able to distribute data streams.
Supporting resolutions up to Full HD 1920x1080@60Hz 4:4:4 8bit, this extender provides high quality content, perfect for eye catching digital signage, premium residential installations or AV distribution in hospitality. IR extension also provide simple control via an included IR emitter and receiver cable using an IR remote.
Please Note: Either use a dedicated network, or network components which support port based VLAN.
Please Note: The HDMI over IP Extender distributes in full 1080p resolution using a form of video compression which is barely perceptible. Presentations and static desktop displays/images will have a similar loss of sharpness similar to standard JPEG compression.

Please Note: Because of bandwidth requirements these video broadcasts should use their own dedicated network connections or should be used in a separate port based VLAN.
This HDMI over Gigabit IP Video Wall Extender allows you to distribute an HDMI signal up to 1080p via Ethernet network to multiple displays for applications such as digital signage, public display and large scale presentations. These extenders convert the HDMI signal to IP broadcast signals. Network devices can be used to distribute the signals. These extenders support 1-to-1 (Unicast), 1-to-many (Multicast), many-to-many (Multicast) and video wall (1x2 up to 8x8) configurations, with Transmitters and Receivers available separately to give you the maximum flexibility in your installation.
In Unicast mode a Transmitter is used with a single Receiver, this can be via a direct connection or via a Gigabit network. When using a Gigabit network it is possible to simultaneously use up to 4 pairs of Transmitter and Receiver, by setting different pairing codes on each Transmitter and Receiver pairing.
In Multicast mode a Transmitter can be connected to up to 1000 Receivers via a Gigabit network with hubs supporting IGMP & Snooping functions, or via a dedicated Gigabit network. In addition, up to 4 Transmitters may be used simultaneously on a single network, each connected to up to 1000 Receivers, again by setting different pairing codes on each Transmitter and Receiver group pairing.
In video Wall mode a Transmitter is connected to multiple Receivers via a Gigabit network with hubs supporting IGMP & Snooping functions and configured by Web GUI into a video wall. It is possible to create a video wall from 2x1, 2x2 up to 8x8, all of which can be duplicated multiple times across a network.

The HDMI Video Wall Controller Scaler allows an HDMI input source to be freely arranged on 4 displays (TV or monitor) and or cascaded (via Output D) using multiple units to extend the HDMI signal to even larger arrays. Each output can be adjusted for bezel correction, contrast, brightness, saturation and hue so that you can optimse the appearance of your video wall.
This flexible feature rich product has been designed to be used in a number of different applications, such as:
Public/Retail Advertisement
Digital Presentation
Broadcasting & Control
Surveillance & Control
Conference & Meeting Room
The Scaler, or multiple Scalers in larger installations, can be controlled by a simple control application (see downloads) or via RS-232 and Telnet using the commands listed in the user manual, making it simple to integrate within your installation.
