Our Fibre Optic Hybrid HDMI cables are the perfect solution for easily extending HDMI digital signals over incredible distances. Perfect for professional and home cinema situations they feature fibre-optic technology which allows transmission distances that far exceed the maximum supported by standard copper only cables.
These cables feature H-PCF (Hard-Polymer Clad Fibre) glass fibres for sending digital display signals. The transmitter and receiver modules are each equipped with standard HDMI Male connectors for connecting to the source and the display. The modules are connected together by a fibre and copper solution.
This cable also can be connected to DP graphics card output for use with HDMI Displays using Displayport to HDMI Adapter No.41068

3D
The HDMI specification defines common 3D formats and resolutions for HDMI-enabled devices. The specification will standardise the input/output portion of the home 3D system and will specify up to dual-stream 1080p resolution.
4K
The HDMI specification will enable HDMI devices to support high-definition (HD) resolutions four times beyond the resolution of 1080p. Support for 4K will allow the HDMI interface to transmit content at the same resolution as many digital theatres.

Content Type
Content Type enables, automated picture setting selection with no user intervention. The Content Type feature enables a display to auto-detect the correct viewing mode to match the Content Type it is receiving from a source device, and to switch modes when a new connected source is selected. Content Type supports content profiles for gaming, movie, photograph and text viewing modes.
Audio Formats
HDMI supports multi-channel digital audio on a single cable. It transmits all ATSC HDTV standards and supports 8-channel, 192kHz, uncompressed digital audio and all currently available compressed formats (such as Dolby Digital & DTS), HDMI 1.3 adds additional support for new lossless digital audio formats Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master AudioTM with bandwidth to spare to accommodate future enhancements and requirements.

The Lindy Fiber Optic HDMI 4K60 Extender is an effective, reliable solution for extending 4K UHD HDMI transmissions over incredible distances up to 300m using duplex LC OM3 multi-mode (50/125µm) fibre optic cable.
The extender can transmit full 4K@60Hz signals, using smart methods of compression which decompresses the video at the receiver, allowing for distribution of visually lossless UltraHD content. With HDR (High Dynamic Range) support, content can be seen enhanced contrast, and a much wider colour gamut, perfect for a true home cinema experience or eye-catching digital signage in retail settings. The LINDY Fibre Optic HDMI 2.0 4K UHD Extender is the most cost effective, high performance solution on the market for sending HDMI 2.0 signals over incredible distances. Using a single OM3 MPO fibre optic cable (12 Core with "Method A" Termination) to make the long distance connection, the HDMI Extender provides full support for UHD 4K 60Hz Resolutions, 48 Bit deep colour, HDCP (2.2 &1.4 pass-through), multi-channel audio and CEC.
The extender system comprises two modules, a transmitter and a receiver, which are connected to both the HDMI source and display using standard HDMI cables of up to 2m. The modules are then connected together using a single, standard 'off the shelf' OM3 MPO fibre optic cable (12 Core with "Method A" Termination) of up to 200m in length (fibre optic cable is not included).

The Lindy C6 HDBaseT HDMI 4K60 & IR Extender, Transmitter is one part of a high performance solution for extending HDMI signals over long distances via Cat.6 network cable. By combining this transmitter unit with a compatible Lindy HDBaseT receiver, this solution ensures reliable transmission up to 150m.
The following distance and resolution combinations are possible when using high quality Cat.6 U/UTP or F/UTP cable:

Supporting resolutions up to 4K UHD 3840x2160@60Hz, video can be viewed in stunning clarity, while additional support for HDR (High Dynamic Range) allows content to be displayed with enhanced brightness, greater contrasts of blacks and whites and a much wider colour gamut. This provides a reliable solution for creating eye-catching digital signage in retail, immersive displays at events or engaging setups in larger conference rooms or lectures halls. An HDMI loop out port provides additional capability for connecting a local display for monitoring of the video content in security or close-range distribution in residential installs, while simultaneously extending the signal to the receiver.
PoC (Power over Cable) functionality provides additional flexibility. This allows power to be supplied alongside data through Cat.6 network cable in a point to point connection between the transmitter and receiver, meaning only a single power supply is required at the transmitter unit. Ideal when power outlets are limited at the receiver end of the installation.
Featuring bi-directional IR ports at both sides of the setup, the source equipment can be easily controlled from the display side, and the display can also be controlled from the HDMI source side. Combined with CEC control, which allows commands from one main remote, this extension system allows for complete and simple control for the user.
Terminal blocks allows for pass-through of RS-232 commands when integrated into control systems.
