This KVM Extender allows you to control your PC using a keyboard, mouse and monitor with a maximum resolution of Full HD 1080p or 1920x1200* at distances of up to 50m (150 feet) using inexpensive Cat.6 cable (not included). It supports HDMI signals including 3D, 1080p24 Blu-ray, audio and HDCP.
The KVM Extender Classic consists of a transmitter unit which is installed near the computer and a receiver unit installed near the user console. The Receiver unit connects to a USB keyboard and mouse, HDMI monitor and offers a Stereo audio port via 3.5mm connector.
The Transmitter unit offers the same connections and in addition, an optional local console port (bypass).
* Please Note: The preset EDID of the extender is 1920x1080p, other resolutions including 1920x1200p are available via the EDID cloning function described in the user manual.

The Dual Head Cat.6 HDMI KVM Extender consists of a transmitter unit which is installed near the computer and a receiver unit installed near the user console. The Receiver unit connects to a USB keyboard and mouse, two HDMI monitors and offers an analogue stereo audio port via 3.5mm connector. The Transmitter unit offers the same connections to the computer.
The Lindy Cat.6 DisplayPort 1.2 KVM Extender is an effective, reliable solution for extending high quality 4K DisplayPort signals over distances up to 100m (328.08ft) with standard Cat.5e/6 network cable. Support for DisplayPort 1.2 allows for the transmission of highly detailed 4K UHD 3840x2160@60Hz resolutions, perfect for eye catching digital signage or detailed content in medical setups.
This extender also supports lossless audio formats including Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD to add powerful multi-channel sound to video content, providing an enhanced experience and sense of immersion for the viewer. USB KM connectivity via 2 USB HID ports allow for a keyboard and mouse at the receiver to control a DP equipped PC from a remote PC setup, which can be stored in a secure or controlled temperature environment, while seamlessly providing consistent video content from the source.
With the ability to extend signals up to 100m using the two included units, the transmitter can be easily connected to a variety of DisplayPort source devices such as PCs and laptops in a more convenient location, while the receiver can be placed in a suitable viewing area with a LFD (large format display), monitor or projector, ensuring there is no distraction from the display from bulky source devices. This versatility provides a suitable system for use in various scenarios such as educational presentations, CAD facilities or remote server administration.
Featuring bi-directional IR ports at both sides of the setup, the source equipment can be seamlessly controlled from the display side, and the display can also be controlled from the DisplayPort source device. RS-232 connections also allow for integration into pre-installed control systems. In addition, the power supply is connected via a screw type DC jack, providing a more secure and reliable connection, perfect for professional installations where accidental disconnections could create a major issue.
The extenders built-in EDID function ensures maximum compatibility with the display or projector at the receiver, further enhancing this system focus on providing high quality 4K DP content over distances easily and with minimum hassle for the user.
Please Note: keep the units in a cool and dry place. If the extender has to stay in a closed and small area, please ensure that the operating temperature is within the range shown in technical specifications.
Designed for highly demanding use cases the DisplayPort 1.2 & USB 2.0 KVM Extender is capable of supporting DisplayPort 1.2 resolutions up to Ultra HD 4K (7680x4320) at distances of up to 200m using a single MPO/MTP cable (OM3 12 Core Method A 1:1). Using fibre optic technology the Extender is capable of extending these Ultra HD video signals in real time without compression over long distances whilst also extending four USB 2.0 devices* such as a keyboard, mouse and USB drive. The Transmitter and Receiver units are electronically isolated from one another removing the risk of damage via ground loop.
* Please Note: Isochronous USB devices such as Webcams and Audio interfaces are not supported.

The Lindy 120m Cat.6 HDMI® & USB KVM Extender is a complete end to end reliable solution to control a source device such as a PC from a single keyboard, mouse and display over long distances via Cat.6 network cable.
Supporting resolutions up to Full HD 1920x1080, ideal for high-performance KVM applications and also for creating eye-catching digital signage in retail or engaging setups in larger conference rooms or lectures halls.
PoC (Power over Cable) functionality provides additional flexibility. This allows power to be supplied alongside data through Cat.6 network cable in a point-to-point connection between the transmitter and receiver, meaning only a single power supply is required at the transmitter unit. Ideal when power outlets are limited at the receiver end of the installation.
USB ports allow for a mouse and keyboard to be connected to the receiver to control a USB source device such as a PC or laptop. The extender features an HDMI® loop-through output on the transmitter which allows for simultaneous viewing using both the local and remote displays. This versatility provides a suitable solution for use in various scenarios such as educational presentation systems, home cinema, entertainment systems, or trade shows.
