The Lindy 1200m Fibre Optic DisplayPort 1.2 Extender is the professional solution for extending DP 1.2 signals over increased distances, not possible with traditional copper-based systems, using a single standard LC duplex singlemode (9/125µm) fibre optic cable.
Support for the DisplayPort 1.2 specification allows for the transmission of highly detailed 4K UHD resolutions, without any compression, ensuring content is visually lossless at the display side. Video content can be seen with enhanced brightness, greater contrasts and a much wider colour gamut, perfect for creating eye-catching digital signage in retail, viewing detailed information in real time operation centres or when delivering engaging and immersive educational presentations in lecture theatres. HDCP pass-through also means that protected 4K content including movies and TV shows can be viewed without issue.
As opposed to the use of copper-based extension systems, the use of fibre optic cable also ensures immunity to RF and EMI via galvanic isolation and high resistance, providing a stable signal in _noisy_ retail or industrial environments which can have a high interference from electronics. Premium metal housing on both units provided an additional layer of immunity to interference.
With the ability to extend signals up to 1200m the extender provides huge installation flexibility. The transmitter can be easily connected to a variety of DP source devices such as media players or PC's in a convenient location, while the receiver can be placed in a suitable viewing area along with a 4K display or projector. This set up is ideal for larger distribution distances in sports stadiums, event arenas, or travel hubs where control and monitoring centres are located away from the action.
In addition, the power supply is connected via a screw type DC jack, providing a more secure and reliable connection, perfect for professional installations where accidental disconnections could create a major issue.
Matrix Switches are premium solutions for distributing content from multiple source devices to multiple displays. The Lindy 8x8 HDMI® Matrix Switch Pro supports HDMI® 2.0 18G signals, allowing for the transmission of clear 4K Ultra HD 60Hz resolutions. Additional support for High Dynamic Range ensures video content is displayed with enhanced brightness, greater contrasts and a much wider colour gamut, perfect for digital signage displays in retail, creating informational multi-display setups in education, or distributing content in commercial installations such as cinemas. HDCP 2.2 support ensures there are no issues with a variety of 4K content when connected to source devices including set top boxes, Blu-Ray players and 4K HDR media players.
As well as HDMI® audio pass-through, individual SPDIF ports allow for a separate connection of digital speaker systems and amplifiers, creating immersive audio experiences to compliment the video content.
This Matrix can be easily controlled via push button switching on the unit, while the included remote control and IR extension also allows the user to have better control over multiple videos and displays, great for trade shows, training presentations or sales demonstrations.

A KVM switch allows an operator to conveniently control and manage multiple devices, such as PCs and servers, from a single keyboard, mouse and display console.
The Lindy DVI-I Single Link, USB 2.0 & Audio Quad View KVM Switch Pro simultaneously displays video signals from four DVI sources on a single screen with keyboard & mouse control over connected computers. Supports single link resolutions up to 1920x1200, in addition a second display can be connected (Full Screen Mode only), so that users can directly control or work on one of the PCs without having to disrupt the monitoring of the other connected computers.
The Quad View KVM Switch Pro provides a number of different viewing modes, allowing users to view the connected computers/video sources in a layout which best suits their requirements. In Quadview mode, the screen is split into four equal fields. Each field displays the entire screen content of its source video or computer. Keyboard & Mouse operations are switched by selecting the corresponding computer‘s quad.
In Picture in Picture (PiP) mode, up to three video sources are displayed as thumbnails on top of a full-screen image from the primary source. This allows them to be monitored alongside a main feed. The active channel, position and size of the thumbnails are all customisable.
In Picture and Picture (PaP) mode, up to three video sources are displayed as thumbnails down the right side of the display next to primary source. This allows them to be monitored alongside a main feed. The active channel, position and size of the thumbnails are all customisable.

The Lindy HDBaseT Presentation System is a powerful presentation system that allows three source devices to be connected to a remote display at up to 70 metres. This device uses three key components that create smart, autonomous presentation, education or collaboration spaces.
An HDBaseT multi-AV transmitter with support for HDMI, VGA with audio and USB inputs which can be surface mounted. An HDBaseT receiver with dual channel analogue audio extraction, microphone input, RS232 and USB control from an interactive board, designed for discreet installation. Finally, a separate wall mounted room control panel is included to quickly switch between input devices, adjust volumes and power on or off the display.
Both the multi-AV transmitter and control panels are both designed using PoH (power over HDBaseT) which provides power to both units alongside data using a standard Cat.6 network cable. This removes complexity from installations by allowing a single power supply to provide power to the entire system.
4K UHD video, multi-channel & digital audio formats including DTS-X & Dolby Atmos can be transmit 40m (131.23ft) over a single HDBaseT connection allowing the receiver can be conveniently placed in a wall or ceiling cavity depending on the locations of other connected devices such as a display, projector, sub-woofers and speakers. Distances up to 70m (229.66ft) are possible with 1080p video signals.
The inclusion of a relay port on the receiver allows room automation with devices such as a motorised projector screen or lighting to be configured to trigger once video devices are connected or disconnected.
Using reliable HDBaseT technology, single cable installation and PoH means this system is perfectly suited for education in a classroom or training room environment. Control over this system is managed through not only the wall plate, but also from a web GUI which is freely available on any device occupying the same network, including mobile devices. This can be used to switch or set a video input, display device connection status_, determine when the relay device is used and much more.
HDBaseT and the HDBaseT Alliance logo are trademarks of the HDBaseT Alliance.
Please note: The Transmitter Wall Plate requires a double gang US Style backbox and the Control Wall Plate requires a single gang US style backbox, both with hole spacing of 8.33cm (3.281 )
