A KVM over IP Access provides control from a network to a Computer or KVM Switch that do not have built-in over IP functionality.
The Lindy KVM over IP Access DVI-I, USB & PS/2 is a hardware solution that allows users to remotely control a computer or KVM Switch. Ideal for system administrators who need to control multiple PC_s or servers connected to a KVM Switch from any location with an internet connection.
This device can be easily installed near the KVM device you need to manage via USB and DVI ports, it can be also be connected to legacy PCs with PS/2 and VGA ports using the PS/2 KM cable and the included DVI to VGA adapter. Screen resolutions of up to 1920x1200 are supported with intelligent compression technology, ensuring optimised video transmission when used in data centres or traffic management setups. It is a perfect solution for home working, you only need to connect it to your workstation in the office and then you can manage your PC from any location with internet connection.
A local console can be connected to the 2 USB and DVI-I ports on the front panel while a USB Wi-Fi port on the rear can be used to connect a Wi-Fi dongle (chipset supported is Realtek RTL8192CU) and create a connection to a wireless network.
The KVM over IP Access can be configured with different encryption levels, providing greater control over users, perfect for large-scale control systems in transport hubs or surveillance centres. It supports up to 256 user accounts, up to 8 users can access simultaneously and share control.
The viewers for Windows or Java are easily downloaded after logging in from web browser.
The Lindy HDMI®, KVM & IR over IP receiver is a supplementary solution for extending HDMI® and USB signals across greater distances via a local network setup and creating scalable IP installations by using multiple receivers when combined with 39320 and network equipment. As a point to point connection, the extender supports distances up to 150m using Cat.6 cable, or when combined with a network switch can be expanded for much larger distribution systems with up to 3 layers of network equipment. Adding receivers provides additional flexibility to the setup to distribute content into various locations or displays at distance, great for use in retail, connected office installations or educational setups.
The installation is plug&play, no configuration needed also for point to multipoint over IP setups.
Supporting resolutions up to Full HD 1920x1080@60Hz 4:4:4 8bit, this extender provides high quality content, good for eye catching digital signage, residential installations or AV distribution in hospitality. The Lindy Cat.6 DVI-D Single Link, USB & Audio KVM Extender allows users to control a source device such as a PC from a single keyboard, mouse and display up to 50m using two Cat.6 RJ45 cables. Supports single link resolutions up to 1920x1200 and HDMI signals including Full HD 1920x1080, 3D and HDCP 1.4. Ideal for KVM applications, the Extender consists of a transmitter and a receiver unit, the transmitter must be connected to a source such as a PC or KVM Switch, the console with display, keyboard and mouse must be connected to the receiver. It's also possible to connect a USB 2.0 device or add a USB hub to connect additional USB peripherals such as storage or printers.
To adjust video signal, you can rotate the EQ switch on the rear panel of the receiver unit while an inbuilt USB to Audio converter allows users to connect speakers, microphones and a line-in interface.
To get the best performances, Lindy suggest using two identical Cat.6 Solid Core cables.

Please note: Lindy_s 10GBase-LR/LW SFP+ LC Single Mode (25039) Fibre Modules can be used as an alternative to the included Mini GBIC multi-mode LC modules, increasing the maximum range of the extender to 1Km (3280.84ft). Maximum supported distance remain up to 300m with HDCP signals.
