Register nowThe network time server acts as a stand-alone SNTP server.
All computers on its local network can synchronise its system time with the network at any time.
The time server itself is permanently synchronised via the long wave time signal sent by the DCF77 transmitter in Mainflingen, Germany. This signal is generated from one of the most precise atomic clocks in the world. It is controlled by the Physically-Technical Federal Institution in Brunswick, Germany and deviates by less than one second in 300,000 years. If the time signal reception is ever lost or in the event of a power cut, the time server will automatically take over the timing via an integrated battery-buffered Quartz clock, and automatically returns to DCF77 mode once the reception has been restored.
Your complete network will always have a highly accurate system time.
The time server is configured via an integrated Web interface, via Telnet over the serial RS-232 port or via the Windows-Software GBL_Conf software which can be downloaded from our server.
After switching the computer on, the active configuration will appear on-screen for a few seconds: afterwards the time and date appears.
Evaluation of time and date information is always based on the last 16 minutes.
Extensive plausibility checks are carried out.
This also guarantees successful evaluation when a completely fault-free time telegram cannot be received due to faults.
It also assures that the switch between summer and standard time takes place right away even when the reception is down.
Comes with a high-quality long wave rod aerial.
The length of the aerial cable is 5m.
