Matrix Switches are premium solutions for distributing content from multiple source devices to multiple displays. The Lindy 16x16 HDMI® 4K60 Matrix supports HDMI® 2.0b 18G signals, allowing for the transmission of clear 4K Ultra HD 60Hz resolutions. Additional support for High Dynamic Range ensures video content is displayed with enhanced brightness, greater contrasts and a much wider colour gamut, perfect for digital signage displays in retail, creating informational multi-display setups in education, or distributing content in commercial installations such as cinemas. HDCP 2.2 support ensures there are no issues with a variety of 4K content when connected to source devices including set top boxes, Blu-Ray players and 4K HDR media players.
As well as HDMI® audio pass-through, individual Coax ports allow for a separate connection of digital speaker systems and amplifiers, creating immersive audio experiences to compliment the video content. The Audio Return Channel (ARC) feature allows audio to be sent from a TV to an audio system or soundbar over the same HDMI® cable that is used to send video to the TV. This eliminates the need for a separate audio cable and simplifies the setup process.
The Matrix also features a downscale function for each output port from 4K to Full HD, making installations with older displays hassle free while always ensuring the viewer receives the optimum picture from their display.
This Matrix can be easily controlled via push button switching on the unit, while the included remote control and IR extension also allows the user to have better control over multiple videos and displays, great for trade shows, training presentations or sales demonstrations.
The Lindy 150m Cat.6 HDMI® 4K60, IR, RS232 & Audio HDBaseT KVM Receiver is one part of a high performance, reliable solution for extending AV and data signals over long distances via Cat.6 network cable.
By combining this Receiver unit with a compatible HDBaseT Wall Plate Transmitter such as Lindy No. 38387 and 38388, this solution ensures reliable transmission up to 150m.
Supporting resolutions up to 4K Ultra HD, video can be viewed in stunning clarity, while additional support for HDR (High Dynamic Range) allows content to be displayed with enhanced brightness, greater contrasts of blacks and whites and a much wider colour gamut. This provides a reliable solution for creating eye-catching digital signage in retail, immersive displays at events or engaging setups in larger conference rooms or lectures halls.
PoC (Power over Cable) functionality with On/Off switch provides additional flexibility. This allows power to be supplied alongside data through Cat.6 network cable in a point to point connection between the transmitter and receiver, meaning only a single power supply is required at one side of the installation.
This extender supports USB 2.0 devices like mouse, keyboard, and other peripherals to be connected to the receiver to control a source device such as a PC or laptop or for data transfer. Featuring bi-directional IR ports at both sides of the setup, the source equipment can be easily controlled from the display side, and the display can also be controlled from the HDMI® source side.
In addition, the power supply is connected via a screw type DC jack, providing a more secure and reliable connection, perfect for professional installations where accidental disconnections could create a major issue.
HDBaseT is a globally recognised standard for high quality distribution of AV content and other technologies, including power and control, over longer distances via low cost Cat.6 or above cable.
HDBaseT and the HDBaseT Alliance logo are trademarks of the HDBaseT Alliance. Using a different cable type, introducing wall plates, couplers or patch panels will result in a reduction of possible distances.
Lindy's range of Fibre Optic Hybrid cables are a professional solution for extending HDMI signals over longer distances. Combining the flexibility and high EMI & RFI resistance of fibre optic cable with standard copper cabling, these hybrid cables are ideal for use in critical AV setups, commercial displays or high-performance residential installations.
The internal technology provides uncompressed amplification of the HDMI signal, allowing long distance extension of HDMI 8K content that is simply not possible with passive cables.
With 48Gbps bandwidth, these cables support HDMI 2.1 resolutions up to 3840x2160@120Hz, and 7680x4320 / 10240x4320@60Hz. Content can be viewed with incredible detail and clarity at higher refresh rates for optimum viewing of movies, graphics or imagery.
As well as static HDR, HDMI hybrid cables also brings further support for dynamic HDR formats such as Dolby Vision and HDR10+. This provides every moment of content, whether scene by scene or even frame by frame, with a much wider colour gamut based on the BT.2020 colour space, higher peak brightness and deep blacks for optimum contrasts as well as greater depth of colour. This is essential for the transmission of VOD content including TV shows and movies, as well as VR and video games, ideal in eSports, retail setups and superior home cinema installations.
Please Note: eARC/ARC and CEC functions are not supported for lengths over 20m.
We can make cables up to 200m on request, contact us for quotations.
