This PCI Express Host adapter can be used to extend a PC with two external SATA 6Gbit/S interfaces. This card supports the PCIe 2.0 interface on the host side and two autonomous eSATA ports on the device side. The external connection is the eSATA 6Gb/s connection. This is not compatible with the internal/external cables used under SATA 1.0a.
