Data
Fast Data transfer of up to 40Gbps from a single connection, twice that of previous Thunderbolt 2. Combined with PCI Express Gen 3 and DisplayPort 1.2 the application list is huge. An example would be using an external GPU dock for your notebook providing high end gaming graphics from a light portable computer.
4K Video
Thunderbolt 3 technology allows the use of two external displays up to 4K60Hz each whist also simultaneously providing other features like high speed data and power.
Power Delivery
By incorporating technology based on USB PD this allows Thunderbolt cables to provide up to 60W of power over the single connection. Legacy devices can also take advantage of up to 15W of power.
USB Type C
The cable uses a fully reversible connector for attaching to your device quickly. The Thunderbolt host port uses an integrated USB 3.1 controller for maximum backwards compatibility at 10Gbps speeds.

Lindy's active cables should be connected in accordance with the instructions for the optimum experience. The connector marked _display_ must be connected to the monitor or screen. Failure to connect the cable in the correct manner will result in no signal. Some projectors have recessed HDMI sockets, please ensure they can accommodate the connector used on this cable.
Active HDMI cables cannot be connected together or _daisy chained_.

The Lindy USB 2.0 Active Cable uses built-in active electronics to extend the cable length of a USB 2.0 device by an additional 10m whilst continuing to support data transfer rates of up to 480Mbps. With USB A male and USB B male connectors this product allows Type B devices like printers to be connected directly at longer distances and ensures flexible positioning.
The Lindy USB 2.0 Active Extension Cable is compatible with all USB Type A equipped computers. The cable's unique and slim design allows easy installation due to the active electronics that are housed in a small cable mould - an advantage over other active USB leads which use bulky connectors.
It is recommended that this extender is used with low power or self powered USB peripherals and not high power consuming devices.
