The Lindy HDMI® 2.1 EDID Emulator Adapter is designed for systems that require an uninterrupted signal to overcome EDID related issues that commonly occur when using AV equipment such KVM's, Extenders, Splitters & Switches. With the small-scale and minimalistic design, this is a handy connectivity solution for both AV and IT installers to ensure legacy and new HDMI® equipment works seamlessly with no compromise on performance.
The Emulator also features LED indicators to ensure a quick simple installation process and with support for resolutions up to 7680x4320@60Hz or 3840x2160@120Hz HDR (Via cloning), HDCP 2.3 pass-through, this emulator is perfect for use with Ultra HD 4K monitors.
This adapter can be used to quickly and easily clone the EDID data from the HDMI® display so that the graphics card has direct access to the correct data from the display, the cloning process takes less than 10 seconds; Alternatively the EDID Emulator is configured with a preset EDID which uses the most common resolutions/timing combinations.
