The Lindy 150m Cat.6 HDMI® 4K60, IR, RS232 & Audio HDBaseT KVM Receiver is one part of a high performance, reliable solution for extending AV and data signals over long distances via Cat.6 network cable.
By combining this Receiver unit with a compatible HDBaseT Wall Plate Transmitter such as Lindy No. 38387 and 38388, this solution ensures reliable transmission up to 150m.
Supporting resolutions up to 4K Ultra HD, video can be viewed in stunning clarity, while additional support for HDR (High Dynamic Range) allows content to be displayed with enhanced brightness, greater contrasts of blacks and whites and a much wider colour gamut. This provides a reliable solution for creating eye-catching digital signage in retail, immersive displays at events or engaging setups in larger conference rooms or lectures halls.
PoC (Power over Cable) functionality with On/Off switch provides additional flexibility. This allows power to be supplied alongside data through Cat.6 network cable in a point to point connection between the transmitter and receiver, meaning only a single power supply is required at one side of the installation.
This extender supports USB 2.0 devices like mouse, keyboard, and other peripherals to be connected to the receiver to control a source device such as a PC or laptop or for data transfer. Featuring bi-directional IR ports at both sides of the setup, the source equipment can be easily controlled from the display side, and the display can also be controlled from the HDMI® source side.
In addition, the power supply is connected via a screw type DC jack, providing a more secure and reliable connection, perfect for professional installations where accidental disconnections could create a major issue.
HDBaseT is a globally recognised standard for high quality distribution of AV content and other technologies, including power and control, over longer distances via low cost Cat.6 or above cable.

HDMI® fibre optic extenders provide reliable extension of HDMI® signals over greater distances that are not possible with passive or network cabling solutions. Fibre cable also provide high immunity to RF and EM interference, making this ideal for use in industrial or other high interference installations.
The Lindy Fibre Optic HDMI® 4K30 Extender is a cost effective, high performance solution for sending reliable HDMI signals over longer distances using low cost fibre optic cable.
Supporting a maximum resolution of 3840x2160@60Hz, video content can be seen with incredible 4K UHD clarity at distances up to 300m, perfect for use in commercial situations that require the source and display to be positioned far apart that may also include video wall setups or presentation equipment, as well as other applications in pro-AV and digital signage. With support for multi-channel audio, this device will ensure an impressive three-dimensional surround sound performance to compliment video content.
As opposed to other extender solutions, this system requires only a single OM3 LC duplex multimode (50/125µm) fibre cable, which can be detached from the transmitter and receiver, also ensuring cabling can be ran though smaller spaces for a simple installation process.
The extender system comprises two modules, a transmitter and a receiver, which are connected directly to both the HDMI® source and display. This allows each device to be connected to a range of source devices including media players and Blu-ray players to display monitors and Tvs. The modules are then connected together using a single, standard LC duplex single mode fibre cable of up to 300m in length (fibre optic cable is not included).

The Lindy 300m/1000m Fibre Optic HDMI® & IR Extender is a high performance solution for extending 4K 60Hz Ultra HD transmissions over incredible distances, which are not possible with traditional copper based systems, using a single standard LC simplex fibre optic cable.
Support for the HDMI® 2.0 specification allows for the transmission of highly detailed 4K Ultra HD resolutions, using smart methods of compression, which decompresses the signal at the receiver for a visually lossless picture. Also providing support for High-Dynamic Range, video content can be seen with enhanced brightness, greater contrasts and a much wider colour gamut, perfect for creating eye-catching digital signage in retail, impressive residential installations or taking sports venue distribution to new immersive levels. HDCP 2.2 compatibility also means that protected 4K content including movies and TV shows can be viewed without issue.
As opposed to the use of copper based extension systems, the use of fibre optic cable also ensures immunity to RF and EMI, providing a stable signal in _noisy_ retail or industrial environments which can have a high interference from electronics.
With the ability to extend signals up to 1000m the extender provides huge installation flexibility, the transmitter can be easily connected to a variety of HDMI® source devices such as Blu-Ray players, 4K HDR media players or PC's in a convenient location, while the receiver can be placed in a suitable viewing area along with a 4K display or projector. The included mounting brackets also allow for a neat installation under desks or discreetly hidden behind displays.
Featuring bi-directional IR and RS-232 ports, the extender provides the capability for source equipment to be seamlessly controlled from the display side, and the display can also be controlled from the HDMI® source device, great for providing simple, flexible control over the installation for the user. The support for RS-232 enables the extension of control signals as part of a larger installation.

An HDMI extender transmits HDMI signals over distances that a standard HDMI cable cannot cover. A transmitter at the source sends video and audio via a network cable, fibre optic cable or the IP network to the receiver at the display. This allows the PC, media player or conferencing system to be kept centrally in the equipment room, while the picture is delivered to the meeting room, lecture hall or digital signage display.
Benefits at a glance: long distances without loss of image quality, use of existing network cabling, tidy installation and remote control of the source via IR or RS-232.
HDMI extenders over Cat6 connect transmitter and receiver point-to-point via a network cable. Models with HDBaseT also carry audio, IR and RS-232 control signals in addition to HDMI. The range depends on the resolution: typically up to 70m at 4K 60Hz and up to 100m at Full HD, with some models reaching further. With PoC (Power over Cable), only the transmitter needs a power supply.
Fibre optic HDMI extenders bridge up to 300m at 4K 60Hz using LC fibre optic cable and are immune to electromagnetic interference.
HDMI over IP extenders use a Gigabit network with a switch. This allows one source to be distributed to multiple receivers and the system to be expanded later – ideal for digital signage and larger installations.
An HDMI KVM extender additionally transmits USB for keyboard and mouse, so the remote computer can be operated directly from the workstation. Models with HDBaseT 3.0 also transmit USB-C and USB data.
The key factors are resolution, range and cable type.
Passive HDMI cables only carry 4K reliably over a few metres. With extenders, 70m to 150m over Cat6 depending on resolution, and 300m or more over fibre, are possible.
An extender lengthens the link, a splitter distributes one signal to several displays. Splitter extenders combine both.
