Lindy Pro Series
Professional AV technology rarely fails because of the end devices — it fails when the connectivity can't keep up. The Lindy PRO Series brings together leading transmission technologies for reliable video, audio and USB in demanding installations: flexible, resilient and scalable — from signal distribution to system integration in corporate, education, hospitality and live event environments.

Projectors, displays and cameras keep getting more capable — the bottleneck is almost always in between. The PRO Series is built for exactly that point: for the reliable transmission of video, audio, control and data across every relevant distance.
Designed for flexibility, resilience and scalability, the range covers professional signal distribution end to end — from a single meeting room to building-wide AV infrastructure in corporate, education, hospitality and live event environments. Which technology is used depends on the project – not the other way around.

Four transmission standards cover different requirements — from a point-to-point link in a meeting room to network-based distribution across an entire campus. Which standard is the right one comes down to three questions: how far does the signal have to travel, which signal types travel with it, and is a suitable network available? Fibre optic bridges the longest distances, HDBaseT™ bundles everything onto a single Cat cable, SDVoE® distributes video over existing 10 Gigabit infrastructure and Dante® brings audio onto the IP network. In practice they don't rule each other out but complement each other — the PRO Series covers all four, so a project can be expanded later on.

The PRO Series relies on SDVoE® (Software Defined Video over Ethernet) for AV over IP: 4K and higher resolutions, visually lossless and with extremely low latency over standardised 10 Gigabit Ethernet.
The software-defined architecture allows cross-vendor interoperability and covers matrix switching, video walls, multiview, distributed KVM and signal extension within a single infrastructure.
Because distribution runs over off-the-shelf network switches, the system grows with you: additional sources or displays mean another endpoint on the network, not a new matrix. That keeps larger installations expandable even years later.
HDBaseT™ transmits high-resolution video, audio, Ethernet, USB, control signals and power over a single Cat cable — across distances of up to 150 m on supported solutions.
Because several signals run on one line, cabling is simplified considerably, with no compromise on latency or system integration.
In meeting rooms, classrooms and digital signage this is often the most straightforward solution: use the existing Cat cabling, add a transmitter and a receiver, done — without network planning and without lengthy coordination with IT.
For particularly long runs, the PRO Series includes fibre optic and hybrid solutions that carry high-resolution video, audio and data across distances of up to 5 km.
High bandwidth, minimal signal loss and complete immunity to electromagnetic interference make fibre the basis of scalable professional AV infrastructure.
Compared with copper, signal quality is preserved even where copper runs have long reached their limits — for example on links between buildings or between the technical room and distant event spaces. The foundation for large-scale, future-ready installations.
Dante® uses standardised IP networks for uncompressed, high-quality audio transmission with virtually no latency — from small installations to several thousand channels. Analogue multicore runs are replaced by Ethernet.
The Dante® software lets networks be expanded and reconfigured at any time, and its wide adoption in the market means a large choice of compatible devices.
In practice this mainly saves infrastructure: where thick multicore bundles used to run between stage, control room and technical room, the existing network cabling is enough today.

Which technology suits a project comes down to distance, network infrastructure and signal types. The matrix summarises the key differences.

The PRO Series is divided into five areas that can be combined freely.
Signal distribution
Distribute several sources flexibly across several displays — switchable, scalable and centrally controllable.
Network-based
Distribute AV signals over the existing network infrastructure — without fixed point-to-point cabling.
Signal processing
Splitters, converters, scalers and embedders for clean signals between different device generations.
Reach
Video, audio, USB and control signals over Cat or fibre runs, far beyond the HDMI limit.
Operation
Central control, switching and monitoring of connected devices — including remote access.
