The Lindy 70m Cat.6 2 Port HDMI® 4K60 Splitter Extender is a simple, professional solution for distribution of 4K HDMI® signals to multiple displays using standard Cat.6 network cables.
Scalable Content Distribution
This Cat.6 splitter allows for distribution to up 2 remote locations using the included receivers, at up to 70m in distance, ideal for sharing content simultaneously in sports bars or events. The local output on the splitter allows for monitoring using a connected display, or alternatively can be combined with up to 2 additional Cat.6 splitters (same unit or the 4 port version 38262) for even larger scale content distribution.
Immersive 4K and HDR Support
With support for resolutions up to 3840x2160@60Hz, this splitter ensures superior clarity of high-quality video, including movies, sports, games, or live monitoring. HDR support ensures a much wider colour gamut is visualised, alongside a higher peak brightness and deeper blacks for an enhanced dynamic contrast. This provides an eye-catching and engaging experience for the viewer in a variety of different applications including digital signage in retail, content delivery in lecture halls, or information broadcasting in travel hubs.
Seamless IR Control
The included IR cables allow for simple control via an IR remote from any of the receiver locations, removing the need to be situated at the source side on the setup.
Simultaneous PoC Distribution
The Cat.6 HDMI® 4K60 Splitter also support PoC (Power over cable) allowing for power to be distributed alongside audio and video over the cat.6 cabling. This allows for only one power source being required at the transmitter side, ensuring a minimalist and time-saving setup at the receiver locations.
Please Note: The quoted resolutions are possible with a direct connection between transmitter and receiver using good quality Cat.6 solid core cable. Using a different cable type, introducing wall plates, couplers or patch panels will result in a reduction of maximum distances.
The Lindy 4 Port HDMI® 8K Switch with eARC is a professional solution for providing simple yet reliable switching control over 4 HDMI® source devices connected to a single HDMI® display, while also expanding a displays HDMI® port connections. Supporting HDMI® 2.1 48G signals, this switch allows for the transmission of detailed 8K resolutions, while additional support for High-Dynamic Range ensures video content can be seen with enhanced brightness, greater contrasts and a much wider colour gamut, perfect for a premium home cinema experience, eye-catching digital signage in retail settings or engaging presentations. The Switch also supports eARC (Enhanced Audio Return Channel), enabling high-quality audio formats like Dolby Atmos and DTS:X to be transmitted directly to compatible audio devices. The Lindy 150m Cat.6 HDMI® 4K60, IR, RS232 & Audio HDBaseT KVM Receiver is one part of a high performance, reliable solution for extending AV and data signals over long distances via Cat.6 network cable.
By combining this Receiver unit with a compatible HDBaseT Wall Plate Transmitter such as Lindy No. 38387 and 38388, this solution ensures reliable transmission up to 150m.
Supporting resolutions up to 4K Ultra HD, video can be viewed in stunning clarity, while additional support for HDR (High Dynamic Range) allows content to be displayed with enhanced brightness, greater contrasts of blacks and whites and a much wider colour gamut. Supporting resolutions up to 4K@60Hz, content can be shown in excellent clarity, great for ensuring a high-quality video experience in sports bars, retail stores or multiple consecutive locations in larger installations. Resolutions can easily be scaled and controlled by the user to ensure the optimum, or consistent, resolution is always displayed.
As well as providing a professional 4x4 matrix switching function, this device can create customisable wall displays in a variety of layouts. This provides the user with a range of flexible display options for their installation and allows the device to be used in a range of specialised environments; including transport hubs, points of sale and hospitality. What is the difference between a splitter, switch, and matrix?
A splitter distributes one signal to multiple displays. A switch selects between multiple sources for one display. A matrix connects multiple sources to multiple displays simultaneously.
What is an EDID emulator used for?
EDID emulators ensure that source devices receive display information even when the display is temporarily disconnected or switched off important for digital signage setups and matrix installations.
