The CROMO® Slim High Speed HDMI® to Micro HDMI® Cable with Ethernet is an affordable, high quality cable featuring gold plated contacts for better conductivity and resistance to corrosion and tarnishing.
This super thin and flexible HDMI® cable has been specially designed for connection to devices in confined spaces or with restricted access to the HDMI® ports. The slim form factor also reduces the weight of the cable by around 80% compared to the standard CROMO® cables. This makes the cables highly portable and ideal for use with smartphones, tablets, digital cameras, laptops etc. A tight bend radius and a slim profile also gives these cables the advantage in places where space is limited.

The HDMI® interface was not designed to power external devices, but rather to supply sufficient power to complete the initial handshake, HDCP authentication and EDID Exchange. Whilst many source devices provide more than the specified 55mA to perform these functions, they do not always provide enough additional power to allow the operation of external HDMI® accessories such as Active HDMI® Cables, HDMI® to VGA Converters and HDMI® Fibre Optic Cables.
Connecting the HDMI® Power Injector Cable overcomes this issue and allows you to provide additional power to such devices, by positioning the cable inline between the HDMI® source and the HDMI® Accessory and then connecting the USB cable to a USB port on your HDMI® Source (PC with low power graphics card or Blu ray player etc) or to an external USB power supply (not included).

The Lindy HDMI® 90° downward angled adapter is a compact solution for connecting HDMI® cables to HDMI® displays or devices with recessed ports, or within limited space where cable connector sizing may affect installation. This adapter allows for a 90° connection in a downward direction if ports are situated on the back of the display or PC.
This is an ideal tool within wall mounted digital signage installations, gaming setups or educational spaces, with no lasting impact on a connected cables strain relief or lifespan. In installations where the cable connection is frequently disconnected and reconnected (e.g. in the area of hardware testing), the adapter can be used to extend the lifespan of the actual ports on the devices.
Please note: it is common for desktop PCs to have HDMI® ports function in the opposite configuration. If this is applicable, please check whether this or the opposing adapter (41086) is required.
