From the Lines cable connectivity concept developed by Lindy, Cromo Line High Speed HDMI® cables are high performance, designer connections that combine premium construction materials with striking connector architecture.
Cromo Line High Speed HDMI® cables feature triple shielded construction with 30AWG tinned copper conductors for premium performance and corrosion resistance. High quality 24K gold plated contacts and connectors maintain optimal signal integrity and maximum reliability.
UHD resolutions up to 4K 4096x2160@60Hz 4:4:4 8bit are supported. Cromo Line HDMI® cables are also capable of transmitting 32 channel audio and Dolby True HD.
Cromo Line cables feature sleek chrome design ABS housing to complement the aesthetics of style focused commercial and home applications.
The HDMI® specification is supported for 18Gbps bandwidth capacity in cable lengths up to 5m. Any cables below 5m are classified as high speed, any lengths above 5m are standard cables.

The HDMI® interface was not designed to power external devices, but rather to supply sufficient power to complete the initial handshake, HDCP authentication and EDID Exchange. Whilst many source devices provide more than the specified 55mA to perform these functions, they do not always provide enough additional power to allow the operation of external HDMI® accessories such as Active HDMI® Cables, HDMI® to VGA Converters and HDMI® Fibre Optic Cables.
Connecting the HDMI® Power Injector Cable overcomes this issue and allows you to provide additional power to such devices, by positioning the cable inline between the HDMI® source and the HDMI® Accessory and then connecting the USB cable to a USB port on your HDMI® Source (PC with low power graphics card or Blu ray player etc) or to an external USB power supply (not included).

Which cable type is required for 4K transmission?
For 4K@60Hz with full color depth, an HDMI cable from HDMI 2.0 onwards or a DisplayPort 1.2 cable is recommended. For 8K or higher data rates, DisplayPort 1.4/2.1 or HDMI 2.1 is required.
When is an active cable necessary?
Active cables are used over longer distances where passive cables can no longer transmit the signal stably for HDMI typically from 1015 meters, for USB 3.x already from around 3 meters.
Which network category is suitable for 10G Ethernet?
Cat.6A reliably supports 10G Ethernet up to 100 meters. Cat.7 and Cat.8.1 offer additional shielding and higher reserves for environments with electromagnetic interference.
