Cat.8.1 S/FTP LSZH network cable with support for bandwidth up to 2000MHz and features a snagless design with gold plated contacts for ethernet standards up to 40GBase-T.
Cat.8.1 cable with S/FTP shielding (braid for overall shield and foil shield for each individual wire pair). With operating frequencies up to 2000MHz they are equipped for ethernet standards 25GBase-T and 40GBase-T. These cables are manufactured and tested according to the ISO/IEC 11801 specification.
The gold-plated contacts ensure reliable, corrosion-free connections over extensive periods of time. A robust snagless strain relief design prevents damage to the connector latch during installation and removal. Network cables, also known as Ethernet cables, consist of twisted wire pairs with RJ45 connectors. Cat5e achieves 1 Gbit/s, Cat6a with 500 MHz already reaches 10 Gbit/s over 100m and is the current standard for structured cabling. Cat8 is designed for short runs in the data centre.

No. The connector is identical, but data rate, video support and charging power differ considerably from cable to cable.
For new installations, at least Cat6a is recommended, as it enables 10 Gbit/s over the full length of 100m.
At 4K and above, passive HDMI and DisplayPort cables can reach their limits from around 3 to 5m, depending on the resolution. For longer distances, active cables or fibre optic cables ensure stable video transmission.
