These days, usually coaxial cables with type 'N' connectors are used for short-wave, UHF and VHF with larger sending outputs and exterior aerial facilities. The LINDY Panel Mount USB Extension Cable uses built-in active electronics to extend the cable length of a USB 2.0 device by an additional 5m. It can be used as part of a daisy chain with other active 5m extension cables to achieve a total distance of 25m.
