The Lindy DAC with Dolby Digital Decoder is an ideal solution for converting an optical digital audio signal to analogue stereo audio, for a high quality audio experience of movies, music and games.

With a single Toslink (optical) input and L/R Phono output, this DAC is perfect for connecting optical-only TVs, Blu-Ray players and games consoles to older generation amplifiers, or for use in digital recording systems and mixing consoles. The separate micro-USB port can be used for power, via connection to a source devices USB port, avoiding the need for a separate PSU.

The converter_s Dolby® Digital Decoder function ensures that Dolby® Digital audio signals are down-mixed to analogue stereo without any compression or loss in audio quality, and with support for LPCM sample rates up to 96kHz and Dolby digital sample rates up to 48kHz, music and movies can be heard how the artist and sound engineers intended, with greater detail and clarity.
