Fibre Optic USB extenders allow USB signals to be extended far beyond the limits of traditional copper cable solutions. The Lindy 300m 2 Port Fibre Optic USB 3.0 Extender supports SuperSpeed transfer rates of up to 5Gbps. This Extender is a complete, two-part hardware solution comprising of a transmitter that connects directly to the user's computer and a receiver that connects to two USB peripherals, using 'off the shelf' LC duplex fibre cabling.
The extender is ideal for long distance use with remote desktop links, industrial control systems, surveillance control or meeting/conference rooms and external storage applications. This device is fully compatible with webcams and video conferencing systems that support 4K USB 3.2/3.1/3.0. 'Off the shelf' LC duplex fibre cabling gives a greater level of flexibility to choose the cable length to fit the requirements of the installation. Utilising fibre optic transmission, this extender provides high resistance to EMI and RFI, perfect for use in 'noisy' areas such as hospitals, large retail installations or industrial buildings.
Please note: This Extender is backwards compatible with USB 2.0 devices. Some USB 2.0 cameras use a different timing standard and thus may be incompatible.

Information about USB 3.0, 3.1 & 3.2
USB 3.0, USB 3.1 and USB 3.2 PCs, cables and devices are all compatible with each other, when using either a USB Type A or USB Type C host interface.
USB 3.0, USB 3.1 Gen 1 and USB 3.2 Gen 1 all support data transfer rates up to 5 Gbps.
USB 3.1 Gen 2 and USB 3.2 Gen 2 both support data transfer rates up to 10 Gbps.

The Lindy Combo KVM Switch is a hardware solution that allows direct control of multiple computers using a single keyboard, mouse and VGA monitor. It's ideal for system administrators who want to control multiple computers or servers from a single, centralised location.
The switch occupies only a single 1U space in a 19_ rack and supports screen resolutions of up to 1920x1200, great for ensuring optimum clarity if used in digital media or graphic design scenarios. It provides 3 simple switching modes, via keyboard hotkeys, front panel buttons and On-Screen Display; setup and management options can be access only via the OSD.
A local console can be connected to the 2 USB and VGA ports on the rear panel while a Daisy Chain VGA port can be used to connect up to 8 Lindy Combo series switches in order to manage to up to 256 multi platform computers with security features, password access and auto log out, perfect for large-scale control systems in transport hubs or surveillance centres. All the functions are accessible from the administrator through a simple to use On-Screen Display.
PCs & connected KVM switches can be remove easily with hot plug support*, allowing for maintenance to take place without the need for powering down all connected devices, essential within always on environments such as data centres or traffic management setups.
Computers or servers can be connected to the 32 host ports on the rear panel via Cat5e/6 cables ad distances of up to 100m using USB+VGA (39634) or PS/2+VGA (39633) dedicated KVM modules (not included).
*Hot plug is supported only if the OS of the connected PC supports this function
The Lindy HDMI & IR Cat.6 Extender 4x4 Matrix supports the transmission of high definition video (resolutions up to 1080p Full HD and 1920×1200@60Hz, including 1080p 3D*), multi-channel digital audio and control via push button, IR, RS-232 and TCP/IP from four high definition sources to four remote displays over a single Cat.6 cable of up to 50m for each output.
Each of the 4 outputs is also simultaneously mirrored on local HDMI output ports, perfect for monitoring outputs or for the creation of a secondary local zone.
It supports high resolution digital audio formats such as LPCM 7.1 CH, Dolby TrueHD, Dolby Digital Plus and DTS-HD Master Audio as well as 3D content that can be displayed when connecting a 3DTV and 3D source.

Additional support for High Dynamic Range ensures video content is displayed with enhanced brightness, greater contrasts and a much wider colour gamut, perfect for digital signage displays in retail, creating informational multi-display setups in education, or distributing content in commercial installations such as cinemas. HDCP 2.2 support ensures there are no issues with a variety of 4K content when connected to source devices including set top boxes, Blu-Ray players and 4K HDR media players.
As well as HDMI® audio pass-through, individual SPDIF ports allow for a separate connection of digital speaker systems and amplifiers, creating immersive audio experiences to compliment the video content.
This Matrix can be easily controlled via push button switching on the unit, while the included remote control and IR extension also allows the user to have better control over multiple videos and displays, great for trade shows, training presentations or sales demonstrations.
The Lindy Cat.6 DisplayPort 1.2 KVM Extender is an effective, reliable solution for extending high quality 4K DisplayPort signals over distances up to 100m (328.08ft) with standard Cat.5e/6 network cable. Support for DisplayPort 1.2 allows for the transmission of highly detailed 4K UHD 3840x2160@60Hz resolutions, perfect for eye catching digital signage or detailed content in medical setups.
This extender also supports lossless audio formats including Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD to add powerful multi-channel sound to video content, providing an enhanced experience and sense of immersion for the viewer. USB KM connectivity via 2 USB HID ports allow for a keyboard and mouse at the receiver to control a DP equipped PC from a remote PC setup, which can be stored in a secure or controlled temperature environment, while seamlessly providing consistent video content from the source.
With the ability to extend signals up to 100m using the two included units, the transmitter can be easily connected to a variety of DisplayPort source devices such as PCs and laptops in a more convenient location, while the receiver can be placed in a suitable viewing area with a LFD (large format display), monitor or projector, ensuring there is no distraction from the display from bulky source devices. Featuring bi-directional IR ports at both sides of the setup, the source equipment can be seamlessly controlled from the display side, and the display can also be controlled from the DisplayPort source device. RS-232 connections also allow for integration into pre-installed control systems. In addition, the power supply is connected via a screw type DC jack, providing a more secure and reliable connection, perfect for professional installations where accidental disconnections could create a major issue.
The extenders built-in EDID function ensures maximum compatibility with the display or projector at the receiver, further enhancing this system focus on providing high quality 4K DP content over distances easily and with minimum hassle for the user.
Please Note: keep the units in a cool and dry place. If the extender has to stay in a closed and small area, please ensure that the operating temperature is within the range shown in technical specifications.

This KVM Extender transmits DVI-D (Single Link) signals up to 1920 x 1200 without loss or compression up to 1000m. USB Keyboard and Mouse signals (standard functions only) can also be extended, giving you control over your computer from up to 1KM away.
In addition, using the optional IR Extender Kit it is also possible to extend IR signals. The KVM Extender extends your computers signals without fear of RF interference.
