The Lindy USB 3.0 Enclosure for 5.25" BD/DVD/CD Drives offers a simple way to add an optical Blu-Ray, DVD or CD drive to a computer without opening the case. It features a USB 3.0 / USB 3.1. Gen 1 Super Speed Type A interface with fast data transfer rates up to 5 Gbps. Optical drives with SATA as well as IDE interface can be connected as an IDE adapter is included.
The enclosure is accompanied by a USB 3.0 Type A to B cable and an external power supply. The robust aluminium housing as well as a fan guarantee excellent heat dissipation.
