The HDMI over Gigabit Ethernet Extender System is capable of broadcasting 1080p Full HD over a standard gigabit network. It can operate as a standard extender in a single transmitter to single receiver configuration or can be used as a distribution system with a single transmitter to multiple receivers. In addition to extending Full HD 1080p HDMI signals the extender system can also be used to extend USB*, RS232 and IR remote control signals, meaning it can even be used as a KVM extender for remote control of a computer.
This Transmitter must be used with a HDMI over Gigabit Ethernet Receiver, just choose the number of receivers you need for your installation.
*Please Note: Only asynchronous USB devices such as keyboard and mouse are supported, mass storage, pendrives, printers and webcams cannot be supported
Main functions of the HDMI WIFI Projector Server
The HDMI WIFI Projector Server allows one or more users to stream sound & images such as presentations, videos or simple sound files to a connected projector. This is done via WIFI, which all modern laptops and other mobile devices have. The projector server functions as a WIFI router and supports the IEEE 802.11b/g/n protocols. This makes it possible to present and surf at the same time- to play a video from the Internet for example.
HD Video and audio are sent to the connected device together via HDMI. Alternatively, the Projector Server offers a VGA and audio interface for older devices.
Conference Control
The Administrator can control the display and connection of individual computers. He/she does this via the website provided by the Projector Server. The resolution and split screen mode can be configured from here.
Users can download the software which allows streaming to the projector server from the projector server itself.
Plug&Show
Thanks to its very simple installation, this device can be use right away. The software can be loaded in different ways. It can be loaded via the browser over an existing WIFI connection, from a CD or the supplied USB stick.
SplitScreen mode
Up to four different video sources can be shown on-screen on a projector. This makes it possible to compare or monitor several things next to each other for example.
Computer, Tablet, Smartphone
Mobile devices can also be connected to the projector server via an app, as well as the connection to a computer. iOS and Android are supported.
Additional USB interfaces
The USB interfaces attached to the front of the projector server are suitable for processing additional information from touchscreens or whiteboards, amongst other things. A mouse and keyboard can also be connected.
Please note: This product is not compatible with macOS 10.15.5

Integrates modern and legacy equipment within new and existing installations such as small meeting rooms and classrooms.

Audio output over HDMI is only supported when the graphics card of the notebook or desktop computer supports audio output over DisplayPort. Several on-board graphics adapters such as Mobile Intel 4 Series Express Chipset in Notebooks (i.e. Dell E6400) do NOT support audio output over DisplayPort, even when HDMI support (Intel High Definition Audio HDMI Service) is installed for audio controllers. In such instances a separate audio connection has to be set up.
