The Lindy 18G Cable Upgrade Adapter is a unique solution to a common problem. Legacy cables installed in walls, ceilings and permanent conduits have no clear way of carrying the latest high bandwidth signals without complete re-installation, which is both time consuming and a very expensive exercise. With the 18G Cable Upgrade Adapter you now have the option to use existing cables and increase their bandwidth without replacing the cable. The unique technology allows 18G signals to be sent over the legacy cable by simply using transmitter and receiver units in the kit. The transmitter connects directly to the source device and the receiver directly to the display device then USB power is provided at both sides, the legacy cable connects between the 2 units and the installation is complete. The whole setup takes less than 5 minutes.

The LINDY HDMI to DisplayPort adapter cable allows you to connect newer PCs and Laptops with HDMI connections to DisplayPort equipped monitors or displays. Simply connect the cable to the HDMI Port of the source device and the DisplayPort connector to a DP equipped monitor or projector.

The Lindy HDMI & IR over IP receiver is an supplementary solution for extending HDMI signals across greater distances via a local network setup and creating scalable IP installations by using multiple receivers when combined with 38126 and network equipment. As a point to point connection, the extender supports distances up to 100m using Cat.6 cable, or when combined with a network switch can be expanded for much larger distribution systems with up to 3 layers of network equipment. Adding the additional receivers provides additional flexibility to the setup to distribute content into various locations or displays at distance, great for use in retail, connected office installations or educational setups.
For 1 to many and many to many set-ups, a managed network switch is required to be able to distribute data streams.
Supporting resolutions up to Full HD 1920x1080@60Hz 4:4:4 8bit, this extender provides high quality content, perfect for eye catching digital signage, premium residential installations or AV distribution in hospitality. IR extension also provide simple control via an included IR emitter and receiver cable using an IR remote.
Please Note: Either use a dedicated network, or network components which support port based VLAN.
Please Note: The HDMI over IP Extender distributes in full 1080p resolution using a form of video compression which is barely perceptible. Presentations and static desktop displays/images will have a similar loss of sharpness similar to standard JPEG compression.
