The Lindy HDMI 18G Up and Down Scaler is a compact, useful solution for upscaling Full HD 1080p resolutions up to 4K@60Hz, or alternatively down-scaling 4k resolutions to 1080p.
With single HDMI input and output connections this scaler connects HDMI source devices including set top boxes and media players to an HDMI display. An integrated repeater function of up to 20m (4K) and 40m (1080p) can create longer length transmissions between the source and display.
Supporting Full HD and 4k@60Hz resolutions that can be upscaled or downscaled respectively, this device ensures seamless playback of video of the highest quality possible. Ideal for ensuring optimum performance in residential installations or conference rooms, or alternatively creating multi-screen set ups or video walls that require identical resolutions on each display with no resolution irregularities. Simple control is provided via a single push button on the unit, allowing for hassle-free operation for the user.
Please note: Only 1920x1080 and 3840x2160 resolutions are supported. The refresh rate will always remain the same. Other resolutions will pass-through, however can have a boosted signal using the repeater function of this scaler.
*Please Note: Only LPCM audio can be converted to an analogue signal, Dolby and DTS signals can only be output by the digital interface.
The LINDY HDMI 2.0a 4K Audio Extractor & Embedder performs a number of useful functions to help you overcome the challenges of installing AV equipment and is designed to be used in both domestic and commercial installations. Setting the Extractor Embedder up is quick and easy thanks to its simple to operate dip switch configuration, whilst its integrated mounting ears make it simple to fix in to position.
With support for Ultra HD 4K resolutions including both 4K 60Hz 4:4:4 and HDR 10 4:2:0 formats as well as HDCP 2.2 protected content the Extractor is compatible with the latest AV equipment. Audio can be extracted from a HDMI source device such as a Bluray player via TOSLink or 3.5mm stereo audio so that it can be played back through an amplifier, active speakers or sound bar. Audio can also be extracted from the HDMI ARC (Audio Return Channel) signal received from an HDTV and output via TOSLink.
In addition to Extracting audio it is also possible to embed audio in place of the original HDMI audio track, this can be done using with a TOSLink or 3.5mm stereo audio device connected to the corresponding input on the HDMI 2.0a 4K Audio Extractor & Embedder.

This compact adapter accepts a HDMI signal from a blu-ray, games console, satellite STB or other HDMI source and upscales the video resolution to 4K UHD using an adaptive 4K scaling technology. The Scaler features VRS® ClearView technology, which performs tasks such as real-time noise reduction, detail enhancement, and edge enhancement to provide you with great picture quality.
An input resolution of 1080p is upscaled to 4K UHD (both 4096x2160p and 3840x2160p are supported), whilst lower resolutions from 480p - 720p are upscaled to 1080p.
Please Note:
The input colour space format and frame rate will be used for the upscaled output, so to upscale a 1080p60Hz Input you must have a HDMI 2.0 Display which can support 4K 60Hz resolution.
Audio is not processed during the upscaling and simply passed through to the display or AV receiver allowing maximum compatibility. The adapters low power design means that in most installations it can simply be directly connected to the HDMI display and then connected to the HDMI source using a standard HDMI cable, without using any additional power supply, making it easy to install even in the tightest of spaces. A USB Micro-B port provides the option to add external power when insufficient power (<150mA) is available from the HDMI sources interface.
*Please Note: Phono output is not possible when using Dolby Digital or DTS Audio, or when using the extractor in ARC mode
The LINDY HDMI 4K Audio Extractor allows you to extract audio from your HDMI or MHL signal while sending the video signal to your HD display or projector. The extracted audio can be sent to an AV receiver or speakers in analogue* and digital audio formats, allowing you to enjoy superior sound delivery. In addition ARC signals received from a connected display can also be output to an AV Receiver using the TOSLink output, perfect for enjoying Freesat HD and Freeview HD
Integrated MHL technology allows MHL enabled smartphones and tablets to be directly connected using a passive MHL cable (not included), at resolutions up to 1080p60
The LINDY HDMI 2.0 EDID Emulator Adapter is designed for systems that require EDID signals to be continuously provided without interruption and helps overcome EDID related problems which can occur when using AV/KVM Extenders, Switches and Splitters. It can also be used in place of a monitor to keep the graphics card of a PC or Server awake for remote access via IP. With support for resolutions up to Ultra HD 4K 60Hz (via cloning) and with the ability to pass –through HDCP content, including that protected by the latest HDCP 2.2 encryption the Emulator is suitable for use with the very latest PC and AV applications.
Some computer systems, KVM switches and digital video signage systems may interrupt the flow of EDID data, or may not be able to pass this information directly back to the video card's output port. This adapter can be used to quickly and easily clone the EDID data from a HDMI display so that the graphics card has direct access to the correct data from the display, the cloning process takes less than 10 seconds!
It is also possible to use the Emulator without cloning a display as it comes complete with preset EDID data for the most commonly used resolution/timing combinations, please see the Technical Information section for a full breakdown.
