The Lindy USB 3.2 Gen 2 & DP 1.4 Type C Hybrid Cable is a unique all-in-one solution for seamless data transfer, high-definition video and power delivery, which uses optical fiber as high-speed transmission medium to perfectly transmit USB 3.2 as well as DP 1.4 data over a distance of 10m. This USB 3.2 Gen 2 & DP 1.4 Type C Hybrid Cable supports up to 4K 144Hz video on 4 DisplayPort lanes. Whether working on graphics-intensive projects, gaming or streaming content, it delivers unrivalled clarity and smoothness.
Host computer and display communicate with each other to determine whether the display is in 4 lane or 2 lane DP mode. If it is in 2 lane DP mode, USB 3.0 data rates up to 5Gbps are supported. In 4 lane DP mode, USB 2.0 data rates up to 480Mbps are supported.
A more flexible construction makes this cable simple to install, with increased resistance to RFI/EMI ensures that the cable can be installed in sensitive environments. It also supports Power Delivery up to 60W, ensuring the device stays powered up and ready to go, even during demanding tasks. Supports resolutions up to 4K@60Hz 4:4:4 8bit over HDMI for exceptional picture quality and clarity. Each board also features audio embedding or de-embedding connections, depending on the board used, for connecting external audio source devices, or separate speakers and amplifiers.
HDBaseT boards can be installed as an input for control and de-centralising source devices, or as an output for extending the matrixes’ 4K@60Hz 4:2:0 signals up to 100m over Cat.X cable when combined with other Lindy HDBaseT devices.
The matrix also provides professional, easy-to-use control options for seamless switching between connections in under 0.1ms, ensuring there is no noticeable interruption of content for the viewer. This is ideal in mission critical setups where uninterrupted content delivery and switching is crucial, or in hospitality where sports fans are watching multiple games at once and don’t want to miss a second of the action. The matrix contains high-performance fans to keep it cool even when installed alongside other AV equipment, while keeping a low noise level of 26.3dB.
IR and RS-232 provide bi-directional control at the location of the matrix, or remotely over HDBaseT for smooth integration into pre-installed control systems. The built-in Web-Gui allows for simple control over matrix switching, as well as resolution scaling, audio settings or the matrixes’ EDID function. Push buttons and an LCD display on the front panel also provide simple manual control. Professional EDID management via the Web-Gui or the dipswitch also ensures full compatibility with connected displays.

The Lindy 1200m Fibre Optic DisplayPort 1.2 Extender is the professional solution for extending DP 1.2 signals over increased distances, not possible with traditional copper-based systems, using a single standard LC duplex singlemode (9/125µm) fibre optic cable.
Support for the DisplayPort 1.2 specification allows for the transmission of highly detailed 4K UHD resolutions, without any compression, ensuring content is visually lossless at the display side. Video content can be seen with enhanced brightness, greater contrasts and a much wider colour gamut, perfect for creating eye-catching digital signage in retail, viewing detailed information in real time operation centres or when delivering engaging and immersive educational presentations in lecture theatres. HDCP pass-through also means that protected 4K content including movies and TV shows can be viewed without issue.
As opposed to the use of copper-based extension systems, the use of fibre optic cable also ensures immunity to RF and EMI via galvanic isolation and high resistance, providing a stable signal in _noisy_ retail or industrial environments which can have a high interference from electronics. Premium metal housing on both units provided an additional layer of immunity to interference.
With the ability to extend signals up to 1200m the extender provides huge installation flexibility. The transmitter can be easily connected to a variety of DP source devices such as media players or PC's in a convenient location, while the receiver can be placed in a suitable viewing area along with a 4K display or projector. The Lindy 120m Cat.6 HDMI® & USB KVM Extender is a complete end to end reliable solution to control a source device such as a PC from a single keyboard, mouse and display over long distances via Cat.6 network cable.
Supporting resolutions up to Full HD 1920x1080, ideal for high-performance KVM applications and also for creating eye-catching digital signage in retail or engaging setups in larger conference rooms or lectures halls.
PoC (Power over Cable) functionality provides additional flexibility. This allows power to be supplied alongside data through Cat.6 network cable in a point-to-point connection between the transmitter and receiver, meaning only a single power supply is required at the transmitter unit. Ideal when power outlets are limited at the receiver end of the installation.
USB ports allow for a mouse and keyboard to be connected to the receiver to control a USB source device such as a PC or laptop.
