A KM switch allows an operator to conveniently control and manage multiple devices, such as PCs and servers, from a single keyboard and mouse console.
The Lindy 4 Port USB 2.0 & Audio KM Switch is a desktop solution for providing control over four PCs with independent displays from a single keyboard & mouse. Switching between computers can be done by pushing buttons on the front panel of the unit and via keyboard hotkeys; with Mouse Roaming hotkey functions, the user can seamlessly switch between the PCs just by sweeping the mouse cursor across screen borders in different layouts.
The audio output port allow users to connect headphones or speakers to add immersive 2CH audio, while additional USB peripherals can be integrated with the 2 ports USB 2.0 hub. Both audio and USB hub can be switched together with the computers or kept binded to the selected port.
The KM switch can be managed with hotkey switching under every OS without any restrictions. Installation is quick and simple with no software required (BIOS is not supported). The KM switch can be used with standard wired keyboard & mouse.
Simple to set-up and compatible with a wide range of Lindy USB Extenders, this solution is ideal for small education and business environments, control rooms or for helping make the most of IT equipment in the home.
Please note: wireless devices may not always be recognized.
Mains extension leads are simple solutions for expanding power connectivity from a mains power source to multiple connected devices. Equipped with fixed leads of various lengths, they are also useful for extending a power connection from the mains power source.
The Lindy 2m 6-Way UK Mains Power Extension is ideal for powering up to 6 UK mains devices from a single UK mains power source, perfect for where a limited number of plugs are available. The 2m fixed cable allows for connection of devices at a distance from the mains plug, great for use in residential setups or offices where multiple devices require power.
The extension lead can also be easily wall mounted to ensure a clean, tidy installation that does not impact the rest of the setup visually.
This advanced Lindy 16 Port Gigabit switch with PoE provides a high performance, intelligent expansion to a distributed IP network, while utilising dual SFP+ module slots for longer distance uplink, ideal for larger scale or multi-building installations. All RJ-45 ports are PoE IEEE 802.3at/af compliant providing up to 30W of power to compatible devices, simplifying the whole installation.
Supporting full Layer 2 management, traffic can be separated and managed effectively via advanced VLAN features, alongside QoS for independent traffic prioritisation and IGMP Snooping for optimised multicast stream listening, while the user can efficiently control the network via Web Gui, Telnet or command line. Featuring virtual stacking, this switch can also be integrated alongside multiple switches for even larger scale installations, while controlled and managed as a single switch.
Optical Digital Diagnostic Monitoring support also ensures the user is provided with consistent critical information regarding the status of both the transmitter and received signals, ensuring faults can be identified and resolved with minimum disruption to the system.
