This KVM Extender allows you to control your PC using a keyboard, mouse and monitor with a maximum resolution of Full HD 1080p or 1920x1200* at distances of up to 50m (150 feet) using inexpensive Cat.6 cable (not included). It supports HDMI signals including 3D, 1080p24 Blu-ray, audio and HDCP.
The KVM Extender Classic consists of a transmitter unit which is installed near the computer and a receiver unit installed near the user console. The Receiver unit connects to a USB keyboard and mouse, HDMI monitor and offers a Stereo audio port via 3.5mm connector.
The Transmitter unit offers the same connections and in addition, an optional local console port (bypass).
* Please Note: The preset EDID of the extender is 1920x1080p, other resolutions including 1920x1200p are available via the EDID cloning function described in the user manual.
Please Note: Because of bandwidth requirements these video broadcasts should use their own dedicated network connections or should be used in a separate port based VLAN.
This HDMI over Gigabit IP Video Wall Extender allows you to distribute an HDMI signal up to 1080p via Ethernet network to multiple displays for applications such as digital signage, public display and large scale presentations. These extenders convert the HDMI signal to IP broadcast signals. Network devices can be used to distribute the signals. These extenders support 1-to-1 (Unicast), 1-to-many (Multicast), many-to-many (Multicast) and video wall (1x2 up to 8x8) configurations, with Transmitters and Receivers available separately to give you the maximum flexibility in your installation.
In Unicast mode a Transmitter is used with a single Receiver, this can be via a direct connection or via a Gigabit network. When using a Gigabit network it is possible to simultaneously use up to 4 pairs of Transmitter and Receiver, by setting different pairing codes on each Transmitter and Receiver pairing.
In Multicast mode a Transmitter can be connected to up to 1000 Receivers via a Gigabit network with hubs supporting IGMP & Snooping functions, or via a dedicated Gigabit network. In addition, up to 4 Transmitters may be used simultaneously on a single network, each connected to up to 1000 Receivers, again by setting different pairing codes on each Transmitter and Receiver group pairing.
In video Wall mode a Transmitter is connected to multiple Receivers via a Gigabit network with hubs supporting IGMP & Snooping functions and configured by Web GUI into a video wall. It is possible to create a video wall from 2x1, 2x2 up to 8x8, all of which can be duplicated multiple times across a network.
Our Fibre Optic Hybrid HDMI cables are the perfect solution for easily extending HDMI digital signals over incredible distances. Perfect for professional and home cinema situations they feature fibre-optic technology which allows transmission distances that far exceed the maximum supported by standard copper only cables.
These cables feature H-PCF (Hard-Polymer Clad Fibre) glass fibres for sending digital display signals. The transmitter and receiver modules are each equipped with standard HDMI Male connectors for connecting to the source and the display. The modules are connected together by a fibre and copper solution.
This cable also can be connected to DP graphics card output for use with HDMI Displays using Displayport to HDMI Adapter No.41068
HDMI - The Standard for Connecting HDTV
All Digital
No compression, no conversion, pure digital direct from the source as it was meant to be seen and heard.
The HDMI High Speed specification offers benefits over the previous version:
3D
The HDMI specification defines common 3D formats and resolutions for HDMI-enabled devices. The specification will standardise the input/output portion of the home 3D system and will specify up to dual-stream 1080p resolution.
4K
The HDMI specification will enable HDMI devices to support high-definition (HD) resolutions four times beyond the resolution of 1080p. Support for 4K will allow the HDMI interface to transmit content at the same resolution as many digital theatres.
Formats supported include:
3840 x 2160 @ 24Hz/25Hz/30Hz/60Hz
4096 x 2160 @ 24Hz
Content Type
Content Type enables, automated picture setting selection with no user intervention. The Content Type feature enables a display to auto-detect the correct viewing mode to match the Content Type it is receiving from a source device, and to switch modes when a new connected source is selected. Content Type supports content profiles for gaming, movie, photograph and text viewing modes.
Audio Formats
HDMI supports multi-channel digital audio on a single cable. It transmits all ATSC HDTV standards and supports 8-channel, 192kHz, uncompressed digital audio and all currently available compressed formats (such as Dolby Digital & DTS), HDMI 1.3 adds additional support for new lossless digital audio formats Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master AudioTM with bandwidth to spare to accommodate future enhancements and requirements.
Amongst others the following formats are supported:
SA-CD
DTS-HD Master AudioTM
DVD-Audio
Dolby TrueHD
Dolby Digital / Plus
MPEG1 Layer I / II
MPEG2
MP3
AAC LC
DST / DSD (as used in SA-CD)
DTS
ATRAC
WMA Pro
MLP (as used in DVD-Audio)
Expanded Support for Colour Spaces
HDMI technology supports colour spaces designed specifically for digital still cameras. By supporting sYCC601, Adobe RGB and AdobeYCC601, HDMI-enabled display devices will be capable of reproducing more accurate life-like colours when connected to a digital still camera.

Cat.5e F/UTP PVC network cable with support for bandwidth up to 100MHz and features a snagless design with gold plated contacts for ethernet standards up to 1GBase-T.
Cat.5e cable, designed for operating frequencies up to 100MHz. With its overall shielding (F/UTP) in the form of a foil, this type of cable has been used reliably for decades in many installations in the prosumer sector as well as in the professional segment, since it can easily be used for Gigabit Ethernet. These cables are manufactured and tested according to the ISO/IEC 11801 specification.
The gold-plated contacts ensure reliable, corrosion-free connections over extensive periods of time. A robust snagless strain relief design prevents damage to the connector latch during installation and removal.
The high frequencies used in network technology cause a high current load in the outer layers of the conductors due to the skin effect , while the conductor cores are only subjected to very low electrical loads. This allows the use of copper clad aluminium (CCA) conductor material, making this cable more cost-effective than pure copper cables.
Available lengths: 1m, 2m, 3m, 5m.
From the Lines cable connectivity concept developed by Lindy, Anthra Line DVI-D Single Link cables are the professional choice for high performance connections in commercial AV and IT installations.
Anthra Line DVI-D Single Link are premium cables that feature triple shielded construction with 24AWG tinned copper conductors for performance and corrosion resistance. High quality 24K gold plated contacts and connectors maintain optimal signal integrity and maximum reliability.
The tough PVC housing incorporates an integrated finger grip for easy installation. Large thumb screws allow the connector to be tightened into place without the need for a screwdriver and a flexible strain relief prolongs cable life.
Anthra Line DVI-D Single Link cables support resolutions up to 1920x1200@60Hz including HDTV resolutions up to 1080p.
Anthra Line DVI-D Single Link cables are available in lengths of 10m to 25m.
Installing an OM3 optical fibre solution gives a simple migration path from 1Gbps to 100Gbps and the security of knowing the system will give many years of solid, secure service to your network.
