HDMI - The Standard for Connecting HDTV
All Digital
No compression, no conversion, pure digital direct from the source as it was meant to be seen and heard.
One Cable
All of your HD video and audio in one cable. Say goodbye to cable clutter. One HDMI cable can replace up to 8 audio and 5 video cables.
The new HDMI High Speed specification offers benefits over the previous version:
HDMI Ethernet Channel (HEC)
The High Speed HDMI HEC Cable specification has an additional data channel that enables high speed bidirectional communication. Connected devices that include this feature will be able to send and receive data via 100mb/sec ethernet, making them instantly ready for any IP based application.
It will also allow internet enabled HDMI devices to share their internet connection with other HDMI devices without the need for a separate ethernet cable. This new feature will also provide the connection platform to allow HDMI enabled devices to share content between devices.
Audio Return Channel (ARC)
The new specification will add an Audio Return Channel that will reduce the number of cables required to deliver audio upstream for processing and playback. In cases where HDTV's are directly receiving audio and video content, this new Audio Return Channel allows the HDTV to send the audio stream to the A/V receiver over the HDMI cable, eliminating the need for an extra cable.
3D
The new specification will define common 3D formats and resolutions for HDMI-enabled devices. The specification will standardise the input/output portion of the home 3D system and will specify up to dual-stream 1080p resolution.
4K
The new specification will enable HDMI devices to support high-definition (HD) resolutions four times beyond the resolution of 1080p. Support for 4K will allow the HDMI interface to transmit content at the same resolution as many digital theatres.
Formats supported include:
*Please Note: Either use a dedicated network, or network components which support port based VLAN, see Technical Information for a full list of requirements.
This add on Receiver allows you to connect additional displays to the HDMI over IP Ethernet Extender, simply connect them to the same network/VLAN as the Extender and they will automatically be found by the Transmitter unit using the UPnP protocol.
Designed to distribute HD video signals over long distances the HDMI over IP Extender is a cost effective solution for digital signage, presentation and demonstration applications. The HDMI over IP Extender is capable of broadcasting 1080p Full HD over a standard gigabit network*, in 1 to 1 and 1 to many configurations. Using up to 4 layers of active network equipment to distribute signals the HDMI over IP Extender is ideal for distributing video content throughout large buildings such as schools, hotels, hospitals, shops, shopping centres and business premises.
The HDMI over IP Extender is sold as a 1 to 1 solution, with additional Receivers available separately, providing the ultimate in flexibility at the point of installation and the ability to easily expand the installation at a later date.
Please Note: The HDMI over IP Extender distributes in full 1080p resolution using a form of video compression which is barely perceptible. Presentations and static desktop displays/images will have a similar loss of sharpness similar to standard JPEG compression.
Package Contents:
HDMI over IP Ethernet Extender Receiver
IR Receiver Cable

LINDY Manual
LINDY Super Long Distance DVI cables use a specially developed and optimised cable material that allows longer cable distances than the 7.5m maximum recommendation laid down by the DDWG (Digital Display Working Group).
Please note: Maximum supported distances and resolutions are dependent on both the monitor and the chipset used in the graphics card.
Features of the RF-BLOK shielded design:
This converter combines a DVI-D monitor signal with an analogue audio signal into an HDMI signal, e.g. for output to a HDTV. Simple plug and play - no configuration necessary, No changes are made to the resolution of the video signal.
