Professional Networked Audio Integration
The Lindy 2ch Analog Audio to Dante Encoder delivers a streamlined and dependable way to transition analogue audio into high quality Dante® digital streams, enabling seamless integration of legacy equipment within modern IP-based audio systems. Engineered for professional AV, corporate, broadcast, and live sound installations, it supports both balanced and unbalanced two channel analogue inputs while maintaining pristine signal fidelity across diverse application environments.
The encoder operates at 44.1, 48, 88.2 and 96kHz / 24bit, ensuring clean and accurate audio conversion suitable for demanding workflows. Each channel includes independent sensitivity adjustment, allowing precise alignment with source devices from +24dBu down to -10dBV. Additionally, the unit incorporates 2x 5 position DIP switches, providing selectable input gain levels at +18dBu, +4dBu, 0dBu, 0dBV, and -10dBV.
This granular control makes it easy to optimise the audio signal for downstream Dante systems or mixed-format installations, enhancing interoperability and consistent performance.
Designed for simple, scalable deployment, the encoder supports plug and play operation, powered via 802.3af PoE from any compatible network switch or through an optional 5V DC USB C local power supply. Latency settings of 1, 2, or 5ms can be configured using Dante Controller, allowing integration into both small and complex networked audio environments. The addition of AES67 RTP transport ensures broad compatibility across AV over IP platforms, expanding its usefulness in hybrid Dante/AES67 ecosystems.
Compact, robust and professionally engineered, the Lindy 2ch Analog Audio to Dante Encoder is an essential tool for bringing non Dante sources such as mixing consoles, amplifiers, computers and distribution products into advanced networked audio systems.
