This Lindy 10m USB Active Extension Cable is a high performance active cable that allows access to USB Type C peripherals like webcams or storage devices over long distances. With support for data transfer speeds of up to 5Gbps this extension cable is perfect for transferring large data volumes quickly and reliably.
This 10m extension cable can be used standalone or - for distances up to 38m - as part of the Lindy USB 3.0 Active Extension System Pro (No. 43157, 43158, 43229 or 43361). Please note that only No. 43157, 43158, 43229 or 43361 (depending on the maximum required distance) can be connected directly to your computer as first unit. The final part of the extension shall always be the 10m USB Type A to C Active Extension No. 43376.
A USB to DC adapter cable for power supply is included. Usually a 5V 1A power supply of a smartphone is enough to drive the connected device.
For USB devices with high power demands, such as a USB Hub or storage device, it may be necessary to connect a bigger power supply like Lindy No. 73412 with an output voltage and amperage up to 5V 3A.
This cable features industry-proven active technology and screw-lock connectors to ensure full signal integrity in the most demanding environments.

The Lindy USB 3.2 Gen 1 C/A Active Extension Cable Pro is a high performance active cable that allows access to USB peripherals over long distances. With support for data transfer speeds of up to 5Gbps this extension cable is perfect for transferring large data volumes quickly and reliably.
This 5m USB 3.2 C/A Active Extension Cable can be used standalone or as part of the Lindy USB 3.0 Active Extension System Pro. This system is a modular solution that can combine multiple USB Active Extension Pro cables and a USB 3.0 Active Extension Pro hub to distribute USB signals to up to 4 devices at about 40m (depending on the cable configurations used).
Please note that only the USB 3.2 C/A Active Extension Pro 5m (Nr. 43380) or the 8m version (Nr. 43381) can be connected directly to your computer. Once the first cable has been connected, you can then cascade further cables to achieve a maximum distance of 40m. The final part of the extension can be any segment of the Extension Pro System (Nr. 43157, 43158, 43229, 43361). If you need to extend multiple devices or if you connect a USB device with high power requirement, then you should use the 10m Hub Pro unit (Nr. 43159) with it_ s power supply as the final part of the extension.
If a USB Type C device is to be connected, a USB 3.0 Active Extension Type A to C (no. 43375 or 43376) can also be used as the last segment.

This Lindy USB 2.0 Cat.6 Extender can be used to extend the distance between two USB peripheral devices and the host computer by up to 50m. A standard, low cost Cat.6 network cable (not included) is used to bridge the connection between the transmitter and the receiver unit. For best performance and compatibility, we recommend the use of solid core patched cables.
The Extender features bidirectional Power over Cable (PoC) functionality, which provides additional flexibility. This allows power to be supplied alongside data through Cat.6 network cable in a point-to-point connection between the transmitter and receiver, meaning only a single power supply is required at the transmitter or receiver unit.

The Lindy USB 3.0 Sharing Switch 2:4 allows up to 2 users to share up to 4 USB 3.0 peripheral devices without the need to repeatedly swap cables or set up complicated network sharing software. The active computer port can be selected by push button. The switch is ideal for sharing a printer, storage device or webcam in office environments. It also allows to share a conference room presentation system like Barco Clickshare between two users. The USB 3.0 Sharing Switch features a 3.5mm Audio output port for connecting speakers or headphones.

The Lindy 150m USB 2.0 Cat.6 Extender can be used to extend the distance between a USB peripheral device and host computer by up to 150m. It consists of a transmitter unit which connects to the computer and a receiver unit that connects to the device. Standard Cat.6 network cable (not included) is then used to bridge the connection between the two units. For best performance and compatibility, we recommend the use of solid core patched cables.

When is a USB extender necessary?
Standard USB cables are limited to a few meters depending on the generation. USB extenders extend signal transmission over Cat.6, fiber optic, or Ethernet to significantly greater distances.
What is a USB sharing switch?
A USB sharing switch allows multiple computers to share the same USB peripherals for example a printer or storage device without constantly swapping cables.
What is the difference between USB 3.2 and USB 4?
USB 4 is based on the Thunderbolt 3 specification and supports data rates up to 40 Gbit/s as well as native DisplayPort transmission. USB 3.2 Gen 2 reaches 10 Gbit/s, Gen 2x2 up to 20 Gbit/s.
