The Lindy 5km Fibre Optic Type C 4K60 Video and Data Extender uses USB Type C input and output connections with support for DisplayPort Alternate Mode and USB 2.0 data transfer. It supports resolutions up to 3840x2160@60Hz 4:4:4 8bit, HDCP 2.2, EDID pass-through and audio pass-through.
Signal transmission is via LC duplex fibre, supporting distances up to 5km with OS2 singlemode 9/125µm cable or up to 300m with OM4 multimode 50/125µm cable. The receiver provides a USB Type C output, two USB Type A device ports supporting up to 5V 1A each, and RS-232 via 3-pin terminal block.
Each unit is housed in a robust metal enclosure and supplied with mounting ears, 3-pin terminal blocks, multi-country power supplies and a Lindy manual. The extender is backed by a 2-year warranty.
