By preventing unauthorised connections, accidental cable insertions or foreign object intrusion, Lindy SFP Port Blockers reduce the risk of port damage and potential downtime. The extender supports DisplayPort 1.2 with bandwidths up to 21.6 Gbps and resolutions up to 3840x2160@60 Hz 4:4:4 8-bit at distances up to 100 m, or Full HD 1920x1080@60 Hz up to 150 m using high-quality Cat.6 solid-core cable. HDCP 2.2 compliance, EDID management and support for lossless audio formats including Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD ensure excellent compatibility across professional AV installations.
Integrated USB HID support enables remote keyboard and mouse operation, while bi-directional IR, RS-232 pass-through and Power over Cable provide flexible system control and simplified installation using a single Cat.6 cable between transmitter and receiver.
