Lindy_s Active HDMI® 4K60 cables combine sleek, modern design with superior performance to provide high quality, reliable HDMI®® transmission over long distances. Lindy's range of active cables come with an in-built chipset that amplifys the users signal to create a much longer HDMI® transmission that isnt possible with standard passive HDMI® cables, while also avoiding the need for additional expensive extenders or repeaters.
With the active chipset built discreetly into the stylishly designed headshell, these cables can easily be installed through conduit or tighter spaces. These premium cables also support the full 18G HDMI® bandwidth to display 4096x2160@60Hz resolutions with additional support for the REC.2020 colour space that covers the wider colour gamut required for high-dynamic range content, for enhanced contrast and more lifelike colour.
Complying to the 2.0 cable specification, these cables are ideal for use with a variety of source devices including set-top boxes, HDMI® media players or PCs when connected to modern displays or projectors. Perfect for use in eye-catching retail displays, informational digital signage or immersive video playback in sports bars, music venues or high end home cinemas.
With support for a range of multi-channel audio formats, including Dolby® True HD and DTS-HD Master Audio, these cables also ensure an impressive three-dimensional surround sound performance when connected to an amplifier's speaker system. CEC functionality also allows many of the source device's settings to be controlled via the display or projectors controls to provide a simple and effective control solution, while avoiding the necessity for several remote controls.
Lindy's active cables should be connected in accordance with the instructions for the optimum experience. The connector marked _display_ must be connected to the monitor or screen. Failure to connect the cable in the correct manner will result in no signal. Some projectors have recessed HDMI® sockets, please ensure they can accommodate the connector used on this cable.
Active HDMI® cables cannot be connected together or _daisy chained_.

SECTION 6 - TECHNICAL SUMMARY
This 7.5 m active HDMI® cable supports 18 Gbps bandwidth with resolutions up to 4096x2160@60 Hz 4:4:4 8bit. It features HDMI® Type A male connectors at both ends, ABS connector housings and 24K gold flash connector plating.
The cable is constructed with bare copper 26 AWG conductors, a round black PVC jacket with an 8 mm diameter, aluminium foil mylar shielding and aluminium alloy braiding. The minimum bend radius is 100 mm, supporting practical installation in a range of AV environments.
Designed for reliable operation between -20 °C and 80 °C, the cable is supplied in polybag packaging and is certified to CE, FCC, RoHS, REACH and UL requirements. The product is backed by a 2-year warranty.
