The Lindy Cat.6 VGA, USB & PS/2 KVM Extender lets you control a computer from up to 300 m away over a single Cat.5e/6 cable, while its integrated KVM switching lets the remote console switch between the extended computer and a second, locally connected PC.
Unlike a conventional KVM extender, the receiver includes connections for a second local computer, letting users switch between the extended PC and a locally connected workstation using the front panel button or configurable hotkeys. This makes it an ideal solution for control rooms, production environments and professional installations where multiple systems need to be managed from a single operator position.

The extender transmits VGA video together with USB or PS/2 keyboard and mouse signals over a single Cat.5e/6 cable across distances of up to 300 m, supporting analogue resolutions up to 1920x1200@60 Hz. Both the transmitter and receiver provide local console connections, while the receiver also includes a PC connection for integrated KVM switching.
Configuration is managed through an integrated on-screen display with video adjustment, EDID management, password protection and programmable hotkeys. Firmware updates can also be performed via the USB upgrade port.
The extender is supplied with two 3-in-1 KVM cables, USB to PS/2 adapters, a USB upgrade cable and multi-country power supplies, and is backed by a 2-year warranty. Please note that this product is designed for direct point-to-point connections only and should not be connected through active network equipment.
