Designed to simplify support and reduce downtime, the IPower Switch Classic 8 allows administrators and installers to remotely power connected devices on or off, perform reboots and monitor current consumption through a simple browser interface or software control. This makes it a practical solution for installations where equipment needs to be managed quickly, efficiently and without direct physical access.

The IPower Switch Classic 8 is ideal for managing servers, workstations, hubs, routers, AV switches, splitters and other installed equipment from a single location. It is particularly useful in comms rooms, equipment racks, control rooms and professional AV systems where remote rebooting, power visibility and simplified support can improve uptime and reduce on-site maintenance requirements.

The IPower Switch Classic 8 supports input voltages from 110–240 V and provides a maximum switched power of up to 2400 W per port and 3120 W total, depending on the circuit and cable used. It features one IEC C20 input, 8 IEC C13 outputs and an RJ45 10 Mbps Ethernet port for network connection. The unit includes current monitoring, a three-digit display, LED status indicators per outlet and overload warning with audio alarm.
The IEC C20 mains input is designed for use on a 16 A circuit; a standard plug fused at 13 A can also be used where appropriate. For 16 A installations, a suitable Commando-style plug to IEC C19 power cable rated at 16 A should be used. Please note that this product is not supplied with a mains power cable and that SSL is not supported.
The unit is supplied with rack mount brackets and screws for 19 inch rack installation and is backed by a 2-year warranty.
