The 2ch Analog Audio to Dante® Encoder is ideal for integrating analogue mixing consoles, amplifiers, computers and audio distribution equipment into Dante® audio networks. It is well suited to corporate AV systems, education environments, broadcast facilities, live sound setups and distributed audio installations requiring dependable IP-based audio transport.

SECTION 6 - TECHNICAL SUMMARY

Technical Summary

The encoder supports Dante® and AES67 protocols with 24-bit audio and sample rates of 44.1, 48, 88.2 and 96kHz. It features a 6-pin Phoenix analogue audio input, RJ45 network output and supports transmission distances up to 100m (328.08ft) over standard Ethernet infrastructure.

Selectable input gain settings include +18dBu, +4dBu, 0dBu, 0dBV and -10dBV via dual 5-position DIP switches, allowing precise adjustment for different source devices and installation requirements. Latency settings of 1, 2 or 5ms can be configured using Dante® Controller.

Power can be supplied via 802.3af PoE or optional USB-C power input. The compact metal enclosure measures 130 x 56 x 26mm and is designed for dependable use within professional AV and networked audio environments. The encoder is supplied with mounting ears and screws, a user manual and is backed by a 3-year warranty.
