Extends HDMI® and USB 2.0 signals up to 100m via HDBaseT
The Lindy Cat.6 HDMI 8K60, Audio, IR & RS-232 HDBaseT KVM Extender is a high-performance and reliable solution for extending AV and data signals over long distances using a single Cat.6 network cable.
Supporting video transmission up to 48Gbps FRL and 18Gbps TMDS with DSC compression, the extender delivers resolutions up to 8K* with exceptional image quality. Support for HDR (High Dynamic Range), including HDR10, HDR10+, and HLG, ensures enhanced brightness, deeper contrast, and a wider colour gamut for a more immersive viewing experience. Advanced HDMI 2.1 features such as Dolby Vision, Variable Refresh Rate (VRR), Auto Low Latency Mode (ALLM), Quick Media Switching (QMS), Quick Frame Transport (QFT), and Source-Based Tone Mapping (SBTM) are also supported.
The extender enables the connection of HDMI® and USB 2.0 devices, allowing users to control source equipment such as PCs or laptops while transmitting AV and data signals over long distances. This makes it ideal for KVM installations, control rooms, collaboration spaces, and meeting room environments. Additional API commands provide advanced functionality, including HDCP and EDID management, video keep-alive, and test pattern generation for installation and troubleshooting.
PoC (Power over Cable) technology adds installation flexibility by delivering power and data through the same Cat.6 cable between the transmitter and receiver. This eliminates the need for a second power supply, as only one unit requires external power.
The receiver features 3.5mm analogue audio outputs with audio de-embedding, allowing direct connection to speakers or amplifiers. The transmitter includes an EDID DIP switch with preset and copy functions for simplified configuration.
Bi-directional IR ports on both the transmitter and receiver allow convenient remote control of source devices from the display location, while also enabling display control from the source side of the installation.
HDBaseT is a globally recognised standard for the reliable distribution of high-quality AV, control, USB and power signals over long distances using cost-effective Cat.6 or higher cabling.

Please note: The stated transmission distances and resolutions are achievable with a direct point-to-point connection between the transmitter and receiver using high-quality Cat.6 or higher cable. The use of different cable types, couplers, patch panels, or intermediate connections may reduce the maximum supported distance and performance.
